  2. Last night was cool. Wish there were more woman though. . Sucks being the only lady.
  3. Would be tough on your road bike! May do some walking. Road bike? pffttt... I ain't no roady. We have some nice mtbs waiting to get dirty again.
  4. So we went to go and see a Dietician about 2 months ago. She worked out an awesome "lifestyle" eating plan. Nothing weird, nothing fancy. That nothing weird and nothing fancy eating plan made me loose about 4.5 - 5 kg and 20.5 cm, and hubby lost about 4 kg. That is in 2 months. I have almost no more clothes that fit me. So shopping spree.

  6. Man oh man, what a tough race. For the first race in year that we did, was this def an eye opener for me. Must admit that the course was really well marked and all the marshals did a great job, etc. Well done to the okes. I would just email them with some constructive critism. We slept at the start line, and some people decided to party and the music in the pub was still blaring at 2 in the morning. So was a bit peefed about that. Other than that.... awesome race. There is also a poor cacte still wondering what he did in the world, cause i "placed" him somewhere else. Was still pulling out thorns this evening, and will have to wait for the others in my arm to come out by themselves. So licking the war wounds a bit.

  13. I tried phedra cuts. Was on it for a week. Every time i drank it, i had to run to the bathroom. Made me nauseous like hell. Then tried Maxislim. That did weird stuff to my body. Felt sick actually. THe only way is to exercise and eat less. Just from getting my backside back on the bike and cycling at least 5 times a week with the odd yoga or pilates session, i lost 3 kg and about 10 cm. There is no quick fixes. I get so angry when people go on starvation diets. Wanna kick their behinds.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  14. Check out this baby..... It is not for a cycle race, but for running. We second the guys. The runners easily put 30 to 50 min into us on this climb. You wanted to throw your bike away.

  18. Ok.... so my hubby decided to show me a photo that was taken on my first ride EVER. Was about 6 or 7 years ago and it was the Herald. I did the 25 km and they took this photo of me..... *I hang my head in shame...* And this year we did a mtb ride and this is the photo that was taken... Just wondering.... does anybody else have photos that they are ashamed of and want to lock away in the closet? Come now.... share them with us..... we won't laugh... promise.

  20. It is next weekend. Looking foward to the honeymoon though. No work for 2 weeks!!! Absolute bliss.
