Ok, where is the popcorn??

I made that mistake once..... Was sick.. started to feel better, went for an easy ride, and that night i started getting sick again... i was never so sick in my life. Was in bed for 1 week. I will never again ride if i feel sick.

I took my shock to Rock Shocks in CT. With postage and everything it cost about R500. They cleaned and serviced it. That shock was a dream after that. This was about 2 years ago. And it still feels good.

What size box would you need to post wheels in? I need dimensions, as I want to get prices.

Didn't really want any names mentioned as i thought it was very embarrassing. But they are a good bunch of guys, and really took good care of my bike. I hope they had a safe trip back home. lpeens2008-04-28 00:26:45

They were crossing the road in front of us at a 4 way crossing. They went over the red robot, and the car that was going over a green robot... had to slow down for the cyclists that were in the wrong.

So on my work today I saw a bunch cross over a red robot.... fine... nothing new.... but the worst thing is, that the car in front of me had to slow down to about 30/40km / h otherwise he would have taken out 3 cyclist. If he didn't see them, it would have been a cycle massacre. No wonder cyclist have bad names. lpeens2008-04-27 23:15:35

So I asked the manager today if they were able to use my bike, and unfortunately my bike is too small. But i think they did make a plan.

LOL. shame man. I think it was his manager that forgot his bike. not the rider.

Yeah but at least you had your bike - what was this guy planning on running around the oval in his kit? I'm not sure if he is even a hubber. But they did assure me that they are going to take good care of my baby.

There are a couple of people. Most are riders though. But i'm gonna spend the entire day tomorrow there. Can't wait.

I got a phone call today from someone that is riding the track here in PE. In the rush of packing etc, they forgot their track bike at home. I think they came from Durban, or something. So they wanted to know if they can use my track bike. I had no problem in borrowing my bike to the guy as my Sa's this year was not happening, so I did not want that to happen to anybody else. Went to my house, got the bike and took it to the guy. He was very happy!! I think that is my good deed done for the year!

That is also the impression that I got. I'm sorry, but if you are such a sore looser, then why still ride? Clearly she is not having fun anymore. All the ladies in that bunch was in the same situation as Anriette. And they all coped. What makes her so special?

There is a running race called the Addo 100 miler that happens in the eastern cape. We always second the guys on the mtb. At about 21 km there is a climb for about 2km. So now you think... aawww 2km is not bad..... but then you see the gradient. You climb in that 2km 400m upwards. That is so steep that the one runner put in 30min on that climb. You actually want to throw your bike away, it is that steep.

I agree. Just look at these faces. They have "I am a " look on their faces.
