Only rider on the grid in the “danger age” demographic
  6. There was a recent issue with some retailers around this. They had some data that showed if certain products (sugary ones) were placed at toddler eye level rather than adult eye level, it initiated the pestering. The regulators felt this exploited children and stopped it.
  7. I’m sure I can remember a campaign by Coke where you could win some money in those things?
  8. With the winter, the "dukwiel" as I its suppsoedly is called has come out. Lovely discovering new parts of otherwise well known to me parks. Richmond has a 14km gravel loop, how cool: Then who needs enemies when your friends to this to your pics....

A lot of sacrifices went into his journey. Amazing achievement!
  10. They, F1, need to lean into this rather than fight it.
  11. Not sure anybody said he got lucky 91 times. Maybe if he got lucky more he would moan less. Edit: Now that I read it again, it could work the other way too. Regarding the target on his back, make no mistake he has a massive following. Here the media hold him in extremely high regard, he does not suffer negative bias, but the “target” painted on his back was a self portrait.
  12. Understanding, no. Astute, yes. She seems to have negotiated a “$1 spent on bicycles = $1 spent on her” to keep the peace deal.
  13. Was a pretty moving moment and speech, but yeah that last little bit was perhaps a little weird.
  14. Frame those 91 victories how you want. We all know it’s not quite the same. It’s a great achievement nonetheless, well done LW. I didn’t see the post race interview, who did Lewis blame for the win?
  15. As always just double check what you are actually covered for, what the excesses are, what the exclusions are and conditions of claims payments. What you also need to take into account is that some of these companies being spoken of are on client acquisition journeys and are on capital burning models. This shouldn’t affect your cover but know that if you are paying a much less than market averages, there is a reason for it. Insurance companies all know exactly how much they need to charge to make a profit. If you walk into Spar and a loaf of bread was all of a sudden only R1, you would ask some questions. The answers might all be very valid. It’s a new brand on promotion, it’s on sale to get you into the shops to buy more chocolate etc The people at both JaSure and Naked good people and are both are backed by strong teams and insurance companies. Just make sure you know what you are buying, or speak to a broker for some advice.
  16. Let’s face it, if it wasn’t a Spez the resident “I hate Spez” lot would probably be ooohing and aaaahing at it.
  17. It’s not the same, but imagine they built it! Simulation gives us an idea of what can be done.
  18. One can only hope
  19. Probably the same people who make perfume adverts.
  20. Don’t understand, lots of people are choosing Levos over bicycles like Giant TCRs??
  21. Fortunately there is zero obligation to justify our bicycle purchase decisions to others. $1 or $10 000, enjoy the ride!
  22. Glad this guy is finally on Twitter
  23. I usually get a chubby for expensive bikes, but somehow this one doesn't do it for me.
  24. This was done a few years ago. The idea was, how fast can we make something go. https://www.thedrive.com/watch-this/18553/watch-a-sim-racer-lap-the-ring-in-400-8-in-virtual-reality
