  1. @Andrew, do you guys have a customer satisfaction policy? I bought the platinum bib Saturday in 2XL as it fits and was recommended as better. But the chamois is so small today's first 15km was agony. My insole bib chamois is about 4cm wider... I wouldn't mind swapping for the ergonomic bib if the chamois is wider. Please advise
  2. @andrew, Any chance for a size 10 kids riding shorts sent to the Cpt branch. Was there on Saturday to get me some platinum bibs and shirts for the kids, but my daughter is still without shorts and i do not see any online
  3. Hi, Does anyone know of the process for Oakley warranties? I bought my jawbreaker 2 years ago (-1 day) and found this morning while trying to change lens the nose bridge mechanism broken. I bought them from traildemon.co.za who was active on here but the website doesn't exist anymore and the email I sent was returned... Thanks
  4. I see XLG is a XXL. I'm a size 40 pants, so you reckon a XXXL assos would be ok. That's their TIR if I googled right
  5. Thanks for your comment as it is not often I find one i can relate too size wise. I have often found it difficult to get the size right with euro brnad being also around 123kg and 1.9m. What size do you go for in giordana or assos?
  6. Spoken to Janos. Seems they have last week but nothing on my account yet.I was checking for site credit though as I thought it would be a site credit. Good on them. I shall spend it with them anyway
  7. They never emailed and it doesn't show on the website. I'll follow up monday. Thanks
  8. I think they were still waiting for the money
  9. And I am still waiting for EVO to be credited back for the tyres so I can get my refund/credit with them... Can you please check that internally? It's been over 2 months now
  10. Totally. I know first hand that you have to be on top of the QC when manufacturing in the east. You can get quality if you stay on top of them
  11. I agree it is a very good design and nothing else in 45mm... that's why I got them in the first place. I think it is a good tyre, just the quality control needs to be strengthened
  12. The rear tyre was sent back to Evo who will reimburse me. PM re the front one
  13. In my case it was 4 bars on road only (training for argus).
  14. Well says 3 to 5 bars on the tire....
  15. If that helps I was running 4 bars. Look you're presence here was one of my deciding factor and I liked the profile of these tire. Unfortunately tire failures can have a dramatic consequence. Also seeing the issues on all the tires offered as replacement does not inspire confidence which is why I have decided not to keep the front tire on. So I'll be reimbursed for the failed one but still out of pocket for the almost new other one....
  16. Oh WOW. I definitely will not be trying the fork as I'm now worried about the quality control... And funny enough I have been looking at the Specialized Pathfinder Pro online today and was planning on going to get a set tomorrow. I'm glad to see your better experience with these.
  17. So I thought I would support you guys. Bought 2 farr dot tyres to run on my converted hardtail, running on Sunringle TR25 (so the good width). I have only used on road, and after a combined 130km, on the 3rd ride i got stranded 0kms from home with a rear puncture that wouldn't seal. After getting home I noticed a bump near the rim where air would escape (tubeless) and thought it was manufacturing default. (white is sealant) After engaging with Evo bike where I bought them from (great service from them) they agreed it should be warrantied. Unfortunately the replacement didn't arrive on time for the 99er and I decided (no choice) to run a tube. After 80km the tube exploded. I didn't spot any apparent issue not was there anything sharp in the tyre, I change the tube and it exploded as I pumped it up... That was it for a very disappointed me, 20km from the finish... Upon removing the tyre at home to send it back I noticed the issue, just below the rim line When I received the replacement tyre I noticed a lot of imperfections along the bead line and queried with Evo who agreed it was not normal (also compared to other tires) and invited me to pop in and check the other in stock. The other I checked had similar imperfections and even could see the bead material fraying in one spot. I am going to be refunded for the rear tyre, BUT, now, I cannot trust the front tyre, but as it hasn't failed yet I cannot have this one refunded... I'm therefore out of pocket but will definitely not be using this tyre, especially at the front. Imagine what would happen if it failed like that going down at 70kph.... I went for a gravel tyre thinking it would be stronger.... Oh well, I just want people to be aware and check before they have an accident
  18. Like that's gonna happen up visser'
