Advice please, I'm using Zwift so please don't recommend Rouvy etc. I have just finished the 6 week FTP build up, which i enjoyed and really kept me focussed. For the past 6 weeks i have ridden 6 times a week indoor and outdoor. Now I want to choose between the Crit Crusher or the Grand Fondo training plans. Has anyone done them that could which one would be more beneficial for overall fitness. Thanks

We agree one hundred percent when comparing number of race wins and records in different era's. A lot more rounds these days as logistics becomes easier as the world becomes so much smaller. Stoner has less championships to Doohan but i still regard him more of a legend, it's the way he won his championships. Not saying Doohan had it to easy, but those Honda's were FAR superior than ANYTHING out there is those days. Doohan and Criville where miles ahead on those things. And Doohan had far superior mental strength over Criville.

Like I said ..... I personally don't rate Doohan. I never said we must discount his wins, wins are wins. I just don't rate him as a legend. I would rate Casey Stoner as more of a legend than Doohan.

I personally don't rate Doohan amongst the legend's. Thats just me. In fact he could possibly be the reason I don't like Honda at all. All he had to do was beat his 2 team mate's.

Well done MM93, Love him or hate him he can ride. Now if he could just win on another manufacture, that would put him amongst the legends.

Not saying this is the case with your LBS, but have you ever thought they could be over their terms or credit limit with the supplier? And they just spin you a story that supplier wont supply. I think most would be shocked to know see how many distributors are owed money by the shops.

OP, any updates on what you are doing further? Taking the "Crash" replacement or insurance and buying another frame?

I would not feel comfortable doing that speed on a bicycle that cant even take your weight on the top tube, whether its the correct way or not.

What speed did you get down Sandton Drive? I've done 95 on a road bike and 83 on a MTB. My Boet has done over 100 down there but he drops like a fat kid on a see saw.

Mordidelli getting and "A spec" Bike and Quartararo getting a "B spec" bike. Basically FM will be on exact same bike as VR and MV and FQ will be on the 2018 bike. Got something to do with cost running two "A spec" bikes and FQ needs settle into MotoGP.

Ok not MotoGP related, well kind of is. Cam Petersen had a MM type save in Moto America. Caused his foot to get caught between chain and swing arm. No crash, but will require operation.
