  8. This is the first negative report about an implant I have read.
  9. Thanks that'll be great. Yes Doc said 2 - 3 weeks off the bike. and then take it very easy from there. But willing to pay the small price for the bigger picture.
  10. Yes, it will be a life changer of note. Although I am not completely deaf and do quite well without aids, as mine are as useful as a Nun with big t1ts. My main reasoning is to be able to hear and communicate better with my kids. No riding is not an option. Doc has already said I can. I was looking for more feed back as in wind noise, the device falling off (mtbing), sweat affecting the device etc.
  11. Hi All So I've been given the go ahead for my operation, end of Aug. Does anyone here that cycles had a Cochlear Implant? Or know anyone. Would really like to get some feed back.
  12. Complete Cyclist or closer to you, Summit Cycles.
  13. Try, Morning Side Cycles. Saw a few 910's there. Not sure on sizes there. If you wanna wait mine will be up for sale in the next couple weeks, if not sooner.
  14. But you get a free sticker for the back of your bakkie with RaceFace.
  15. It's ENVE, if you gotta ask you cant afford.
  16. Morning side cycles.
  17. I'm so slow I get fly splats on the back of my helmet.
  18. XC, hope he's good to roll. Tough old bugger, rode one Sani with a broken ankle.
  19. He walks like a 90 year old after that crash.....
  20. Please can you confirm that you will be closing the course, as I know quite a few riders from JHB were planning on coming down the week after the long one.
  21. Caad, My Pops is riding 65-69, well he might be riding. He went down last week to practice the course and binned it BIG time in one rock garden. He has hurt his back properly and will see if he will be ok in time. Lets hope he gets his once in a lifetime opportunity at MTB worlds. He has done a few Road worlds.
  22. Now you just made me REALLY want to go back, What a JOL. I'm sure we passed you there by the Irish Corner on the way up.
  23. Use the money you save on entry fees over the next two years to pay the "fine"/recovery cost.
