Comment of the weekend for us was, coming out of the last water point on day 2, there was a uphill. Two challenge riders were pushing up the when we rode past....The one says to the other " V#k, I'm sick of being a weekend warrior......."

Or PM me your number and I'll give you "The Security Guards" number he rides most mornings there as well. (Another easy ride) Or wait by the Traffic Lights at 04h50 and jump in with a group, there are plenty. Or....... ok enough.

What a Jol!!! Really enjoyed this event. Riding on Day 1 and 3 was so so, Day 2 was proper!!! But the hospitality was simply out of this world. I would rather be trying to get up Yellow Wood than be sitting behind my desk today.

Upgrades on mine: Full XT with XTR RD (probably a little heavier than Sram, but was gatvol of Sram on my previous bike.) Wheelset to Magic Rims, Pillar Spokes, DDP tech hubs. (probably not the lighest but VERY strong and stff. I weigh 93kg) Put the Ritchey Carbon Seat post, and Carbon Truvativ Bars with Truvativ Stem. And Ritchey WCS Saddle. Weight 9.6kg for a large.

DDP Tech 2's are the BOSS, and are interchangeable for QR and trough axle.
