Please can you confirm that you will be closing the course, as I know quite a few riders from JHB were planning on coming down the week after the long one.

Caad, My Pops is riding 65-69, well he might be riding. He went down last week to practice the course and binned it BIG time in one rock garden. He has hurt his back properly and will see if he will be ok in time. Lets hope he gets his once in a lifetime opportunity at MTB worlds. He has done a few Road worlds.

Use the money you save on entry fees over the next two years to pay the "fine"/recovery cost.

Mind Blowing...... What an AWESOME experience. Even more impressive is the speed they come up Mont Ventoux and Alpe D'Huez. Don't tell anyone but I accidently hooked my flag on a bike on top of one of the team cars at top of Alpe D'Huez.

There are a number of ways to get from Broadacres to Harties. (Most of it off road) Careful of farmers thou, we have been accused once or twice of stealing Cabbages and Carrots. Once we were even accused of stock theft and a gun was pulled by the farmer. I was further down the river when this happened. PM Manbearpig he likes taking strays out that way.
