Hi, We are planning a long ride at VG tomorrow. Does anyone know if the climb over the ridge which is normally in the advendurance races is open to the public?

On Saturdays there are loads of people cycling and running on the trails, so I have not seen anything untoward recently. Mid week rides I still ride only in groups of min 3 people...

I am also willing to assist. There is also a security company patrolling in Monument Park/Waterkloofrif area, they are paid by the community safety forum. We can potentially get them involved.

We need to somehow address this quickly before someone gets hurt. Any ideas? I stay 15mins cycle from KK, and it would be a pity to not be able to train there...

Awesome route, I do it once / twice a week leaving from my house...

I have the standard SL729. A month back I noticed a small crack on the top tube, just infront of the seatpost. I took it the bike shop and within 7 days, Momsen replaced the frame. I really enjoy this bike, I ride is hard and it climbs like a bomb... The R type has got some awesome specs on top of the standard parts you get, so I can definitely recommend this bike.

Just love the Klapperkop track. it forms part of my regular route to Voortrekker and groenkloof. Riaan, I will be interested in helping out on the tracks.
