Along with all the good results and experiences it was a good learning curve for a lot of us I think, gained some invaluable experience there! My good deed for the event was teaching Trek's brand manager the meaning and concept of a 'PK' Maybe he'll apply it to some Trek marketing or a model name. Have to love cultural exchanges.

It was a pearler of racing this weekend! The Elite Mens crash at the start was crazy, someone's tyre burst and half the field got cought up in the ensuing chaos. It was dust limbs and bikes, riders caught behind the crash actually rode through the tape and around photographers and spectators. Two riders were really having a go at eachother... nuts I tell you, was brilliant I loved it!

I especially like the one chirp from a spectator to one of the elite cross country ladies, as she comes up the climb he says "nice bike" danger dassie2009-04-14 01:13:39

Have a Polar myself which I'm happy with. Fine idea, sitting at the back I'm sure she could hear mine though. One reason I stayed standing Wayde, Amy filling in was a bonus. Defiantely sign me up for any more seminars she might hold. My details are at the top of the form we all signed. Ta guvnor.

Anyone else here go to the talk from Suunto about training with HRMs? It was a Club Cyclelab function but I'm sure people took a mate/partner with. Found it very informative, many thanks to the club, Steve from Suunto and the woman who filled in for him due to the delayed flight. For myself I think I realised again the value of using my HRM for training and it was interesting to hear the advances in general that the manufaturers are making.

Never had the problem, although I have had it with the USN drink, which is a dilema for me because I like the stuff. Think stuff like this affects different people differently, doesn't mean the productive is defective.
