  1. So I don't get it. You gonna be riding the same bike you making fun of right now? Are you spethial? Go to a school for lower grade kids?
  2. Yeah, right, hop on a "dikwiel" delivery bike, or hell, even a Penny Farthing and ride half as fast or as far as you do now and we'll talk. Oh, wait, you already ride a Raleigh and think you're all that, don't ya go figure...
  3. Dumb@sses are going with SRAM... when the only SRAM team of 2007 (Saunier Duval) have clearly seen the error of their ways and are using Campag like clever people for 2008... Seems like without LA, Johan can't quite make the right decisions... Oh well, sorry for Contador... That's the last Trek TDF win...
  4. Was it also intentionally designed to be that ugly?
  5. The East Rand Bru... We normally put them on hotted up Fords.. Oh, wait, a Cervelo is pretty much that...
  6. Is this in the mag discussed here https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=19452&KW=cover otherwise I'll never see it
  7. Not quite sure you're right He was instrumental in getting the Kazakh government and big business to bankroll and endorse the team' date=' but as to him owning it ; he may have some share but how substantial is it?[/quote'] I think Marc Biver "owns" the team as in he holds the PT license. But Vino used his pull inn Boratland to get sponsors on board. The sponsors have given gfinancial garantees to Johan Bruyneel going forward, so thye future of the team looks secure.
  8. http://www.jra.org.za/ A Word from the MD http://www.jra.org.za/images/directors_12.gif ?I love this city, and I love being able to make a tangible difference in the lives of the people of the City of Johannesburg. I especially cherish the opportunity that the JRA provides to develop, sustain and protect women through our various projects.? But stuff all about protecting road users...
  9. Blackburn Delphi 5.0 Got mine for 700 from Westdene. Ok, so it wont transfer to PC, but I can take the info and put it in manually. And it does everything else really well. bob_the_builder2007-12-06 03:34:10
  10. Well I assume you agree Campag is the only rational route. If not, then the entire argument is moot. So anyway, for my rands: Shamal Ultra: 1395g per pair. At R6,929.65 ( and you can them in gold which is not my taste, but is cool) vs Bora Ultra: 1305g per pair. At R18,049.01. 12k for 90g? Are you nuts? And I weigh in at 56kg (racing) so real deep section wheels become a handful for me in a stiff breeze, and performance per Rand, I'll take the Shamal Ultra's (even in Gold) any day. And I'm not a carbon nut... I ride a Scandium frame, with minimal carbo bits... Not that Carbon is bad, but my Rands... bob_the_builder2007-12-01 12:12:49
  11. I was always a died in the wool Time fan. I recently started useing a pair of Keo's. Now I don't think I can use Time ever again.
  12. Shamal Ultra. QED.
  13. Raleigh's the agent for BBB in SA. They will not supply them directly' date=' but the connection is there. Isn't PRO the Dutch company? [/quote'] Dunno if PRO is Dutch, I know they are sort of to Shimano what Fulcrum is to Campag. As in they are owned by Shimano, and use Shimano tech and such.
  14. The same BBB as in the Dutch company? If so then what is Raleigh SA so happy about? the connection is? And nothing on the BBB or TBL websites? bob_the_builder2007-11-27 08:09:07
