  5. How ould that work exactly? Our co blocks facebook' date=' but I can see the pics? [/quote'] Maybe they're blocking it like their a$$ which is good for you Are they just blocking the address http://www.facebook.com or any address containing the word facebook? I wouldn't suggest asking, otherwise you're doomed I don't really care what they block, I can see the pics, so I'm happy, I never go to the facebook site, I don't even have a profile.

  8. Oh, and I don't watch stupid cycling often exactly because of last night's episode in embarrasment. Don't worry, I have numerous e-mails to MultiChoice regarding their content too.
  9. Sorry, you go do your own research. I charge quite a bit. If your point is that others are responsible, then lets have them on TV so they can take the bullets then
  10. Nevermind popeye. Part of being the man in charge is supposed to be taking the bullets, justified or not, and I know I'm not the only cyclist who feels the way I do.
  11. Sorry, I just think yhis Lemmer guy is a fool. He looks like a fool, under his leadership, we have had two major proposed tours cancelled, and I (yes, I sit on my @rse all day in front of the TV) have not seen a single piece of the World's View Challenge. Ok, I lie, there was a farce of an insert on StupidCycling last night. Oh, wait, the same show that this supposed CEO? COO? whatever was on and mumbled his way through some questions and sidestepped the rest, whether by design or accident.
  12. This guy: He's not so bad, just a Jap Richard Gere having a bad hair day And judging by the company he keeps... no-one takes him seriously either... bob_the_builder2008-02-06 08:23:30

  14. Horse Steroids and Brake Fluid will do that to you...
  15. Whoa .............. what makes you think CyclingSA is trying its best to kill the sport' date=' please tell us? Without CyclingSA generating some money it would have to close. If they put their name behind an event surely they are entitled to a cut of the sponsorship for giving the race some credibility. Sure CyclingSA might not please everyone all of the time, but rather give them some support instead of trying to cricify them at every opportunity. I say all events should be sanctioned by CSA in order for the organisers or promoters to be able to get any form of Public Liability insurance and NO event should be allowed to take place on the roads without the insurance being in place. [/quote'] Insurance has got nothing to do with it. The amount of money CSA want to sanction an event places a huge burden on our event sponsor, and in real terms having the event CSA sanctioned means absolutely blow all for the majority of our entrants. I agree in principle that having an event cSA sanctioned lends credibility, however, I have some serious doubts as to the governing body's business model. (as well as there ability to gevern and administer the sport - look at the way they treated Ronel recently, and the way the have treated Malcolm and others in the past). But I guess mis-management, cronyism and a flawed business model are inherent parts of any South African sports administration.
