  1. Found a Racetec Timing Chip in Franklin Road Claremont Inbox me if it's yours. Or does anybody know where else I can report this.
  2. Agreed.......That's why I started running... LOL. But one can always "create" a cycling event.....and then your points are in the bag.....
  3. Register with SA-Active online.....and follow the instructions to claim points....
  4. I just throw mine in the washing machine, add the detergent, run the gentle cycle with cold water......no shrinkage, no discolouring, no fraying, no stretching
  5. I wear a Raymond Weil most days and a Rado on others...when I cycle I wear my Polar  ...but I actually use my Nokia for time......
  6. :( :( Enjoy it!!! I'm actually looking at selling my bike to by a lens
  7. cptmayhem.....i'm a needy person requiring a 18-300mm
  8. I'm happy with my Nikon D5000. Bought it in a 2 lens bundle (18mm - 55mm and 55mm to 200mm) It's a great "entry level" DSLR Camera and value for money. The only thing I don't like is the fact that I need to change lenses for different scenario's. If i had a choice again, I'd go for a 18mm to 200mm lens instead.
  9. Some of my shorts have gel padding and others don't. Gel padding is marginally more comfortable, but it's the time in the saddle that gets to your "bits". I've done one DC in a non-gel padded shorts and two in a gel padded shorts and to be honest, there wasn't a significant differance in comfort. But then again, shorts & paddings are a personal choice.
  10. let's put it this way...whenever we gonna see pina's it's gonna get funny LOOK's, then the GIANTS will come out and blast them with CANNONdale's firepower......just a thought
  11. Couldn't agree more hellcolour....we should be on the look out for anybody selling bikes like this at crazy-low prices. But like you said, it only happens because there is a market for it
  12. Surgery???? Saudiq, that should be a last resort, really. I've had the problem too, and with my wife being a physio, the traditional stretching and using that foam roller thingy worked for me. Rest is, however, very important. With regards to your first DC, ease back into training slowing, don't push yourself too hard. I did my first DC with 7 weeks of training, so you should be fine
  13. Saudiq, Saudiq, Saudiq The Advice is....rest, rest, rest and more rest.......
