i am going to give XCO a try this year to gearing up at giving it my all next year.
i had a thule bag which i used to use when i paddled, but recently bought a bike cube... they are very nice.

Formula R1s Disc Brake Set 2012 i have these on my Stumpjumper. They are amazing. I previously had Elexir CR was very happy with them, however i think (personal opinion) that are way better. The stopping power is amazing, can be a little noisy but i really rate them in the wet or dry.

Yeah, i would try both. I choose between a Catlike and a Spez Prevail and ended up going for the Spez based on the fit, catlike looks weird in my opinion.
So, i only got to read this today and unfortunately jumping on a bit too late. Hardtail, if Scott is keen, i don't mind i would like to donate some cash toward the skills course.
