  1. Theres a subject, I thought this was hijack central?
  2. We could take it to Lost City thats for tomorrow, i think man frog wants rid of us TODAY!!!
  3. I think you should stay the extra night, I'll bring the carbo loading / recovery drink of MTB champions. Pretty sure you will drop all the bunnies, with very little effort. Not sure my parents will look after my little ones another night - they just had them for a week and the one is very naughty. Will bring spare kit but if you pursuade me to stay and I manage to con them, I will use your dual suss I can only hope after a multiday mtb I can beat them on the road Good luck on the dual sus front, I'm not taking it. The MTB ride is flat dirt highway from what I've been told so I'm putting the race wheels on the Cannondale and using it instead. What flavor recovery drink do you want? Lager, Pilsner or Bock?
  4. no it is not. It's a ponce expo. I thought is was a pub and barone crawl.

  6. name will die, not fit enough for even the 25km. Jess gets to die in your group on Saturday, I predict she will be shelled from the group before the start line and Cian is riding.
  7. Not even for a free ride? Jan Smuts is to early to start drinking. I'll never finish. Need a beer stop somewhere between Douglas Drive and Northgate. Nope... going to bond with my hammock and maybe my camera on Sunday. And maybe clean my mtb (I have not cleaned the Tuli dirt off) if I am feeling extremely workified. Hmm... I am going to M&A for breakfast with Pickled's wife that morning to watch. Is it too early for champers?

  9. Wise words, however I refuse to give up my beer at the halfway mark. ;-) Moab, you riding or serving this year? BTW - Bring your MTB and a change of kit with tomorrow Kurt and I are both sick so you might have a free entry (or two) into Sundays race. markStockton2009-08-20 03:53:22
  10. Awesome, well deserved Ben-Melt.
  11. Do yourself a favor and look at foam grips like the Ritchey WCS (http://www.cwcycles.co.za/ritchey_wcs_light_grips.html) they are light and oh, so comfortable and cheap. I also tend to loaf on my bars, so take my word for it they are really comfortable. To fit mine I rolled old rubber grips off, put a little oil on the rubber inner and slid them into place.
  12. They are taking entries at number collection. Me thinks the number of entries are way down.
  13. Not at the address sent out on the race confirmation. People dishing out numbers where quite clueless. I was sent to the Licensed riders que for my MTB numbers as I was "licensed" . The DIY goodie bag sucks tripe. markStockton2009-08-18 03:07:10
  14. mmmm, now where did i put my road bike, havn't seen it since about April / May? Great one Alex, we won't be there this week due to colds and flu, but hopefully next week.

  16. As well as a great ride at the Provincial XC race at the MTN bike park.
  17. There was some sort of agricultural fair going on in the middle of the stadium in the tents behind the finish. Complete with good food and some very dodge kareoke performances.
  18. As well you should, else I might join the debate about Hog's next course.
  19. Big up to Spectrum Sport for their management of the Dirty Harry results. I sent them an email this afternoon mentioning that I'm a Veteran Male, not Female (although I might ride like a girl). Within 10 minutes I got an email back confirming the problem had been fixed. Low and behold, it had. Awesome service, well done. You guy's are by far my favourite timing company. Not to sure why only the MTB and Triathlon race organisers have realised that you guy's are tops. Maybe one day the roadies will catch on.
  20. also seem to have issues telling the difference between male and female vets
  21. Works like a treat with a 29 and 44 chain blade and a 11 - 34 cassette. Oh, good luck finding that kit at a decent price. You better off buying the XT crank on special at CRC.
