Ummm...Fanx I think?? But seriaasly, my rear hub is "dood still" & it's a set of Easton EA70 xct's. (so I'm not such a cheapskate) Is it supposed to be so quiet? I now there was mention of silent hubs on here a day or 2 back but I was under the impression that all hubs made a noise??

My rear hub doesn't make that clickety rrrrrrrrrrrrrr noise when freewheeling going downhill. I was wondering if it would be wrong to put a playing card in my spokes to simulate that noise? I do realise that it would then make a noise the whole time but I'm trying to come up with an idea where a remote lockout lever could could engage & disengace the clothes peg holding the card in place.

Duuuude that sucks @ss!!!! When I sell stolen second hand goods I make sure they fell off a reputable truck & dont have a blarry tracking device in them & I have over 100 posts so U know it's legit!!

I actually told the Lbs dude the other day that my Eastons are stukkend cause the blarry hub doesnt make a noise. I genuinely thought they were faulty..ha ha DOF!! I actually dig the noise, especially the ou's with the dik expensive wheels that make that off beat rachety sound. Now on the night rides though, I switch off my torch & then freewheel up to the dude in front of me & scare the bajeeezus out of him. style!!

Hey Bru's, I did like my cuzzin Michael Naiker tjooned me & also made a 1 time conversion. So now I also cruise on a 4 valve,(2 on the wheels & 2 on the shox) 30 speed, with 29 inch rims. Pimping ekse. I hactually am on my second dikwiel. First a Meri...mari?? Mahindra Big 9 and now I have exactly what that first ou posted a pic of . We only tjooned it with 1,2, modifications & now it's a thurra bread racing machine..

I got a pair of olympics size 45 (whatever the hell that means) if u want, R 300 wore them about 2 months, but my diabetic feet dont like them much. Edit: Oh & some pedals, They are flats but with spd clips on 1 side, works well for a start kinda best of both R 150

Hey I schmaak riding at night. We have a night ride every Wed, even in winter. Its cool cause you dont get to see how blarry far you still have to go!! Did the Parys 24hr thing last year ...in the dark & the rain... that not so lekka!! But like Robrider said, try it. It's pretty friggin awesome..

Agree 100%, I just made the mistake of riding my old Trance with the shock not set for my weight & lost a lot of power even with the pro-pedal on. Bike felt like jelly when i stood & rode, pumped it up to dikgat & all was well.

Dont worry boet..I take a lot of strain when i sit & pedal, stand & pedal....think about pedalling???? So i just dont ride with the fast ou's!! Seriously though, can your back shock lock out? if so then try standing locked out & see what happens. Maybe u need to pomp the shock a bit harder & if that helps then hey?? Logic says that the gearing shouldn't be an issue due to the fact that the harder you go standing up, the heavier your gearing should be to maintain the pace?? buy then like i said I k@k off no matter what!!

The GT is legend but where does the water bottle go? Tha Ktm is a seriaaasly nice looking bike full of Ritchey rich parts my choice....
