  1. Hi hubbers! I am desperately looking for an extender battery for my wife's Spez Turbo Levo SL. My local Specialized shop can't help me and they don't know when any new ones will arrive in SA. Does anyone know where I can find one? I will also look at a second hand one if someone is willing to sell me one. I'll pay promptly and well! Have a lekker day!

  3. You mean a calibration on the Elite App? I haven't tried that. I'm not in ERG mode - just tried doing a "free ride".
  4. Hi there everyone. With the the surge in Covid-19 I thought it would be a good idea to move my training indoors again. When I fired up my Elite Suito I updated the software and firmware on my Upgrado App and tried to do a chill ride in Innsbruck. However, going uphill or downhill the resistance didn't change AT ALL, and I churned out an even 2.5W/kg or so for an entire hour, with only the speed changing on uphills or downhills. VERY frustrating! Has anyone experienced this that can maybe help me out with a solution? Any help would be much appreciated.
  5. Apologies if I missed it somewhere in the thread, but is it possible to transfer Zwift and/or Strava files (I don't ride and run on Zwift with my Garmin watch) to my Garmin Connect App on my iPhone? I usually use only the desktop version of Garmin Connect for all my stats, but since this is still not working, I have no way of getting all my data in one place. Any help would be appreciated!
  6. I would love to know this too. Especially, say, compared to how many F 750 GS motorbikes BMW sell a year at the same price...
  7. Just some feedback on the Hennops MTB trail for all those in the Gauteng area. I rode this trail for the first time ever on Saturday - what a jol! I did the 36km loop and then added another two sections for a total of just over 50km. The trails are almost exclusively singletrack, beautifully maintained and very well marked - no chance of getting lost. I also saw several other lone MTBers out there and must say I never felt unsafe at all. The trails are non-technical but with about 750m of climbing in the 50km that I rode you can definitely get a proper workout there! I'm definitely going back soon!
  8. That makes it even more strange... The weirdness of the Sky/Ineos marketing machine at work again...
  9. Absolutely phenomenal that after all those fractures and lost blood, he doesn't even have an IV line, neck brace or eina bruises or any monitoring on him whatsoever... Must be how the French do it...
  10. It was my first Route 66 race. I did the full 3-day race and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was surprised at the amount of singletrack on the route, and expected much more "graspolle" bits from what everyone was saying before the race. Vibe was good, waterpoints OK (I missed the old trusty Coke though...), marking adequate if you stayed focused and generally good fun all round. A very good close-to-home Gauteng stage race. I'll be back in 2020 for the 10th one.
  11. I can't believe this race doesn't have a page dedicated to it. It's Gauteng biggest stage race! Who's doing it? Who's done it before? What can newbies like me expect?
  12. Rode there today... Did the full red route. Such a cool place for riding and training, but someone needs to go in there with a machete and/or a side cutter... Some sections badly overgrown. Hope it gets sorted soon...
  13. I didn't do the event... What did go wrong?
  14. Agree 100% on the Forester. I've owned 14 VW/Audi products and finally decided to try something else. Forester is a wonderful vehicle; has a surprising amount of space in the back (my Large 29er goes in easily wthout toucing seats/sides/back window) and goes ANYwhere off-road that so-called true 4x4s can.
