  1. I have been in the Motortrade for 30 odd years and we have a similar situation. Usually the Warranty replaced part's labour cost is covered by the Warranty but at a reduced labour rate..... Eg Shimano would replace the XTR derailer valued at R1000 ( cost price ) plus warranty labour rate of .5 hours where as a cash cust would buy the XTR derailer at full price and pay full labour rate. The motor manufacturer I work for even cover vehicle SAPS clearance and registration at NATIS if a Engine is replaced.
  2. Devastating news...... I have many fond memories of Frans organising me Tandem 55 blades for my TT rig..... RIP

  4. Try using the local drawing salve called "Uit trek" I suffer from deep saddle sores and this stuff works pre and post ride.
  5. Ah.... Now all you tiny feather weights can back off, this is my dept... I'm 6'6' and 100kg... Honestly, avoid carbon, you will either crack or flex it, try find a decent Cannondale CAAD or a Merckx in a std geometry, dont even dare look at a compact frame. Cannondale have a awesome warranty system and the CAAD series are strong, Merckx are brilliant but scarce. You will most likely need a 120mm stem or longer, and longer cranks too. You are most welcome to come over and take my 63 Merckx for a ride.....there was a 63 Cannondale frame on the hub a few days back for a good price!
  6. ooooohhhh, but just pitch up with too long socks, or a sleeveless shirt or wrong cassette....... DISGUSTING.... long time comming.... We need a private events promotion Co to act as our Gov body, something like HA Toere.....
  7. take the pedal out and try screw iI in from the other side...... I highly doubt you've managed to force it in cross threaded all the way..... if you screw it in from the other side,t will clean the threads and then take it out and fit it correctly from the correct side. ...and lock tight or your wife's favorable R400 nail varnish works like a charm.....
