Same issue... I send them to my daughter. Today, both coffees gone! Losing interest as they (Disc) make it harder to earn so they don't hAve to lay out monies for redemptions.

Results not yet out. One could get provisional results at the finish but there were major issues with the timing and capturing. Some strange results... normally one gets an sms...or so I was advised.

Fabulous trails but attitude of Jumpertrax and Advendurance when querying results less than professional with final results nor having been signed off by the Commissaire.

Wind made it a tough ride but the chicken prego roll at the end was sooo worth it.

It certainly was a perfect day out on the road. Great weather, beautiful surroundings and a well organised race. Will definitely be back.

Cannot believe I started this post 5 years ago.I ended up getting the 2009 FP3 and have enjoyed every km. I "upgraded" to 25mm tyres and the cleArance on the front campy centaur brakes is microns. So crunch time... with a budget of R35k do i invest in a new 2nd hand bike or upgrade existing groupset and wheelset? If the latter, recommendations gladly appreciated.

I emailed Discovery yesterday and received the following reply.. "Thank you for your email. We have noted your contact details and will keep you updated with regards to any developments. Team Vitality is expected to launch at the end of January 2015. Communication regarding the registration process will be emailed closer to the time. Team Vitality Cycling costs R600, and includes: * A Team Vitality race shirt * CSA licence and provincial licence, excluding the elite/age group racing licence. * A voucher to the value of R800 for a Garmin device * A voucher for a cycling helmet. We have not confirmed the monetary value of this voucher as of yet. * Up to 60% discount on a Bicycling magazine subscription through discovery/mall"
