Also...one more question (which may be a silly one but I jsut want to check before I order the wrong thing).... Will these rotors work with the Tech x2's?: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=80550 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=80527 The front rotors are listed as 183mm....will these still work. I'm also alittle worried because CWC's description reads "Suitable for the Mono Mini and Mono M4 brakes", I've tried looking at other rotors on CWC but cant find the ones meant for the x2'S??

HAHAHA....the 4 pot pistons are what edged it for me initially. Cool, I'll look at getting the Tech x2's (braided)...now just gotta twiddle my thumbs for 4 weeks until I get back to SA so I can order them!

Thanks. I mainly do cross country riding....probably nothing to warrant getting M4's.....I just got carried away when I saw them, and they weren't a whole lot more on CRC. I weigh about 70kgs, so I'll probably be fine with 180/160 rotors.

Ok I think it has to be the M4s.....I have a Specialized XC.....will the M4s fit? And can I get the 203mm rotors? Thanks (any advice appreciated)

I have the Avid Juicy 3's and have also had tons of problems with them squealing. Tried cleaning up the surface of the pads and rotors but no real luck. ALso been battling to get my rear brake to work properly.....seems like one of the pistons doesnt work properly. Had it in and out of my LBS numerous times trying to get it right and everytime I get the bike back the problem is exacltly the same. Time for some hope brakes I think....now which ones should I get???

Sounds like your LBS is telling tall stories. I would expect the rebound adjustment to make a difference throughout the range. You won't find better advice on suspension performance than Hilton so I'd definitely go with what he says

Hey bud Not to bad hey. One more week of work here and then I'm done. Yeah that was possibly definitely the noisest ride I have ever been one.

I bought a new Specialised....noticed a loud squeak from the front wheel which I initially thought was the brake until I took the hub apart and found that there were 9 bearings on one side and 10 on the other. Luckily not too much damage before I found the problem.
