  1. Have you tried another wheel with 12 spd cluster (from LBS or friend)
  2. Have everybody received their seeding? I am still waiting for mine
  3. Cycle path to Milnerton will give you just over 40 km (to the end of Paarden Eiland 50km). Also cycle up to the N7, then go left and turn at the Philadelphia bridge. There and back around 37 km. You can combine the above routes to get to 60 - 70 km. Also up to N7, left to Philadelphia bridge, then right past Philadelphia to the old Malmesbury road. There you can go left to Kalbaskraal or even Malmesbury and then back (> 70km) or left via Schoons drift loop (about 45km)
  4. E-bike
  5. I have a Specialized 2020 Roubaix and a 2024 Diverge both with the 1.5 Future Shock. After just under 2 years the future shock on the Roubaix gave issues ("rough feel" when compressing the shock). Was replaced under warrantee. After a year of cycling with new shock, the same happened. This time I had to buy a new shock, since it was already warrantee replacement. I had the Diverge for 1 year 5 months and are starting the experience the same issue (done just over 5300 km up to date). I do cycle between 4-5 times a week. Still need to contact local Specialized agent/shop. Has anybody had similar issues with the future shock? According to Specialized one cannot service the shock. Has anybody tried to service/open the shock?
  6. I was not aware that one gets Shimano 11-36 11 spd. Will contact Solomons. Thanks
  7. Currently I am using Shimano 2 x 11 spd GRX group set on my gravel bike with a 11-34 cluster. I want to go to 11-36 cluster when riding some steep mountains (Ouberg Pass last weekend). I can only find a Sram 11spd (11-36) cluster. As I can recall it is no issue using the Sram cluster with Shimano chain. Is this correct?
  8. How gravel friendly is the 80km ride for a gravel bike?
  9. My son and I discovered awesome gravel roads between Malmsbury and Riebeeck Kasteel while training for Swartberg this coming weekend. Nice climbs and road surface
