  1. As mentioned before, stock on the Supersix Gen 4 is a problem. Would also like to know the ride quality between Supersix Gen 3 and Gen 4, is it worth the upgrade? Cant fault the Supersix Gen 3...
  2. As per previous comments, make sure you have the Mavic Exalith pads. Mine took a week or two to bed in before the squeal reduced. The "toe in" on the pads also helps. With the correct pads my Exalith has a slight whining noise when the brake is engaged and the speed approaches zero. Otherwise it is silent.
  3. The Rhino climb is a challenge and will test you, but very rewarding. I have done this a couple of times. Another option is to go up and go down Black Rhino 2 instead of doing the full climb. Black Rhino 2 will be fun with a HT! lol šŸ˜
  4. Cool video! Bringing back some good memoriesā€¦ I did it in 2020. Excellent race! With all the climbs on Day 2 its hard to remember that you did so much downhill on Day 1ā€¦ make sure you pack your climbing legs for both days. Oh yes, since 2020 its 5km longer to get to the Hell! @milky4130Hell&Back is a whole weekend before DC šŸ¤£ whats the problem? šŸ˜
  5. Lots of options available: 1. Living Colour, between Yzerfontein and Darling, lots of single track and you do the entire Wolwefontein trails (day permit) 2. Khwa ttu Nature reserve, just outside Yzerfotein has some nice single track (day permit) 3. Darling, many options, gravel with plenty climbs, but you need to join a local who can show you the routes on the farms, unfortunately no markings etc... (free) I have also met some friendly local MTB riders at "Die Skuim" coffee shop who I joined... Perhaps that's also a good point to start if you keen to join a group.
  6. Good deal on your Garmin Heart Rate Straps?
  7. I have Vermarc, Ciovita, Assos S7 and RS9. In terms of durability Assos all the way... comfort, well Assos again! RS9 is next level...

  11. I was also happy with my Corsa 1.0 bibs considering the price I paid not so long ago. However with their latest sale tactics and price CIOVITA will not be supported by me. By the way I noticed some LBS have sale on some excellent bibs from a well known brand.
  12. Thx for this information. CIOVITA was my brand of choice as their Corsa 1.0 was good and well priced... Mind you looking at their latest prices and your comment, I will look somewhere else.
  13. I was looking at the Corsa 1.0 in Navy, Lets hope others didnā€™t fall in the trap...
