  2. raise your saddle? i saw a physio, a bio kineticis(?), bruce mchlaughlin and jeroen swart( for bike set up). All 4 adviced me to lower my saddle?
  3. hi i had it in dec. , its a bugger! most nb for long term solution,is strengthning core and stabilisers in hip and glutes, combined with stretching. theres no short cut here, dont do both and it will get worse! trust me. on the upside, you will be amazed what core work does for you riding! goodluck
  4. Does everyone have to piss in their pants every time they see cyclists riding three abreast and then come post it here? It's not gonna change... Let it be and move on...4 5 sakes excellent ethos Jason.. so because crime is bad and not going to get better, i must just move on and accept it when it happens to me.. great going to apply that stunning logic to my everyday life and i'll be a winner in no time at all!!
  5. Multiply them together and you get the amount of people he has bullsh*tted with his cancer survivor stories and given false hope to. bit harsh colonel..probably lot of people been touched directly and indirectly by cancer in these forums.
  6. Hi all I recently started getting pain on the outside of my left knee. I have been doing +/- 850km/month at good intensity for last 5 months with no problem, and have never had knee pain cycling or running over many years, I have not changed set up, ramped up intensity or distance. Who is considered the best physio/doc/set up specialist to see in cape town? about to increase intensity for summer league and want to sort out as quickly as possible. thanks.SlOW2008-12-10 03:43:45

  8. im going to murder someone later today..because everyone else is doing it, so its okay..care to join me in that case? Then I'm going to jump in a fire..care to join me? you can go first. f@cking 1st class tjop
  9. Hi look at Easton EC90 Aero, and Reynolds Dv46 if you want to look at all your options.
  10. In light of yet another senseless murder on our roads, why dont we hubbers and fellow cyclists make a point of attending the 1st day of trial of the culprit who has murdered Chris ( assuming he is caught, God willing he will be ) It is an oppertunity to draw attention to the case, the 'hit and run culture' that seems to be ever increasing, and lend support to a fellow cyclists family! Lets make a stance, however small and stand together here. After that could of been anyone of us...
  11. Hi All RIP Chris - may your family find strength in this dark time. God willing they catch ther culprit!
  12. sorted, mates friend drive behind us. thanks skye
  13. Hi All Is it safe to ride from muizenberg to strand ( 2 riders only ) from 8am on sat morning? riding from burbs to hermanus. thanks
  14. busch i got a set of very nice light reynolds dv46 for racing, but training with my powertap has got me going far faster than they did! chat to zerocool, he's pretty knowledgeable on it.
  15. ive been using one since june, i have improved radically with less riding... why? for the first time every ride i do is focused, has a purpose. i realise alot of my 'training' prior to that was simply riding, sometimes hard, sometimes easy, but rarely structured. combine that with a tool that makes your riding far more interactive due to the ability to analyse each and every ride, past and present to see how you compare on familiar training circuits and hills and you have in my opinion far more motivation to keep you going and focused to improve with measurable gains. throw a coach into the equation and you will be riding at levels far beyond what you would have achieved just training hard all the time.
