I feel that people are starting to move away from hub based power measuring units and going for crank systems such as SRM and Quarq, regardless that they are more expensive. Just easier to manage since it forms part for frame and not the wheelset. Powertaps will evently become defunct when pricing improves and new pedal power systems enter the market.

Its getting really concerning reading of all the well known cyclists in the pro ranks being bust for using dope every other day lately and whats even more frightening is that there must be loads that aren't being bust.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I'm definitely not naive to think this is only a recent revelation, but its just really sad to think that you basically have no choice but to dope to really make it on the pro scene as most of the big names nowadays have a really ominous cloud hanging over their heads or have been bust. Last Friday a few mates and i had the privledge of riding with Lance for about an hour and a half. It was really surreal being on the wheel of a living cycling legend. He makes riding the big blade look so effortless. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm the guy in the Cervelo kit. Wont forget this for a while
