switched over to 2x10 nearly a year ago and will never go back to 3x anything.. riding 28,42 in front and 11-36 at the back. I am not the strongest oke on the block, but never had an issue with gearing.

Anyone ever ridden with vredestein mtb tyres? If so what was your experience? Familiar with their road tyres buth not with their mtb tyres...

Saw some nice chinese carbon mtb frames on the net - is there any hubbers who ride chinarellos? What is their build quality like and is it worth (also safe ) to ride a chinarello?

You can buy the service bottles for rocknroll - they hard to come by but worth the hassle

You have to ride not freewheel...

You can replace the bearings with enduro bearings - better bearing and will last longer - best person to speak to about which size bearings is Ruan at Spokeworks. Also started servicing my bb and helps a lot to extend the lifetime..

Try and get an appointment at Dr Thys de Beer at Little Company of Mary hosiptal - he is the best guy in the country and specialises in shoulders

depends - I had my stans rims custom built rode on them like I stole them after two years still running true - had them for a year on a hard tail and a year on a soft tail - but best try and spend the few buck more and get a custom built wheelset with stans rims

How is the software/apps?

I am looking for a new bike computer - either the garmin 500, garmin 800 or the bryton 50. Heard the Bryton aftersales is a lot better - but how do they compare, ease of use, accuracy etc?
