  1. CBR is great. Very helpful. Respray frames, forks, Carbon repairs and decals. Experienced 5 star service.
  2. Yes, Evobikes are great. Mainly deal with Janos With Tania in the workshop in the back of the premises doing bike rebuild/assembly and services - winning combination.
  3. Bought from them 3 x . I've ordered online then call them and speak to online to confirm. Wait for email with payment details. Once paid and money reflects they courier it or arrange with Pudo to collect it. Find these days using Pudo app and do booking after they confirm its quite fast. The shop is situated in Malmesbury. Beautifully stocked. Not scammers
  4. Google Hermanus bikeshops. Quite a few, Hermanus cycles and village cycles. Lots of cycling happing there. They will be able to help you. Enjoy!!
  5. When it comes to kids.. your kids.. Trust no one.
  6. Yep!! In James (CBR) WE trust..
  7. Thank for sharing. Will give this one a miss.
  8. I've use Cyclelab 3 x in past year sending bikes between Pta and Ctn. Drop bike they pack and courier with their courier service. Last year I paid between 400 and 500 for everything. (Box and courier) Was a very satisfying experience.
  9. Shop with you feet.. CW /CL not the smee as it use to be under previous management. Don't complain.. move on. Try www.evobikes.co za
  10. Lekker. Take little detour through West Coast Nationalpark.. be prepared to pay full entry fee if you don't have Wildcard Enjoy. ( did it about 6 years back on my own.. )
  11. This is great news. No hard feelings. Hope you get a bike soon!
  12. Precisely...
  13. Easy.. as long as people use them they will keep doing it and be in business. Why don't you just use Bike hub classifieds Gumtree etc. unless people are so cash strapped and want money now in which case they will take whatever is offered.
  14. Over the years I found that most bikes are sold on the Brand name. There are always a low-end part on most of the bikes unless you buy the High-end bike with X0 or XX/XX1... Buying any new bike at 8k is really an entry level bike, considering it should sell for 12k and marked down to 8k tells me that possibly the slightly better wheels set might have been exchanged with slightly cheaper set in the b/s. This is not necessarily the manufactures problem and, in this case, more the b/s Considering your weight and timeframe of 30 odd days I would say" they" the b/s should fix/replace it under some warranty. Ride it... maintain it., upgrade the wheelset and components with new or good secondhand parts you could buy from Hub. Very importantly... ask, your questions regarding parts/bikes ect here on this platform. Here are members with decades experience/expertise that will be more than willing to assist you. You might just find they more knowledgeable than the chap trying to sell you a bike in the shop. Enjoy and stay safe.
