Had to work this morning????Tomorrow morning I will hit the road again????????

Decided to tackle our toughest tarred climb in our area this morning. Hadn't ridden it for years and I remembered why not???????? this morning. The main climb is only 700m long, but the ave gradient is 12,9%, reaching 15 at the steepest part towards the end of the climb. I remember when I was still fearless, I reached a top speed of 101km/h coming down the one time and that was freewheeling ???????? And some surrounding pics. Beautiful area we live in???????? View from the top where I had a lekker Blackcat chocolate bar???????? Took it easy going down with a max speed of just over 70km/h???????? A shade over 1000m of climbing in my 60km ride????????

Took a turn off the tar???????? Check on horses: chowing and building up energy for Saturday's ride???? Then some single track???? Through forest, nice and cool Some footwork required????☺️ Road in the distance with a nice tough climb Really blessed to be able to enjoy my sport????????

First part for my future road bike. No idea of frame, but one thing I know, Campagnolo is the groupset for me.????????????????

Enjoyed the ride. Great organization, good weather, lots of spectators, lots of fellow sufferers and wow, plenty of climbing. Managed 2:48; happy concerning the state of my legs towards the end

Here some pics of my ride this morning. Ok, I know it is not a bike????????, but still went out riding. Actually went flying over my horses head as his foot went thru the ground into a covered ystervark hole while we were trotting. Fortunately the bike is ok, sorry the horse???????? and rider also ok Waiting???? Come on, hurry up???? Huge fun, these four legged bikes????????
