    The last few months been kept busy with the biggest project I’ve ever tackled by myself. I am pretty pleased with the final outcome. The roof sheeting was done by the owner of the plot where we are renting. He’s got a steel business and his team does roofs on a regular basis. The timber I treated with Enseal and varnished with Powerseal One of the future residents doing inspection ???????? Still need to make the stable doors

    A new bike and some new wheels. Been a long project. Frame painted by bogus, wheels build up by the Sheriff. Frame is from china, rims light bicycle 46mm laced to Bitex hubs. Will only be able to complete next week as I still need a couple of things to finish the build. Bike as pictured 6.5kg, wheels 1460g

    11 days including customs clearance. I asked them not to ship with EMS as our postal service is shambles. Cost $18 extra for faster shipping. Locally Linex handled everything. Handling fees and sars came to R750-00

    I’ve got a brake caliper that’s been stuck at durmail hub since 27/02/18. After contacting crc they send me a replacement one. This one arrived at at jhb on 24/04/18. Nearly a month later I am expecting it tomorrow. If anyone has a contact for me at durmail I would appreciate it. Having ordered a BB from bb infinite they contacted me refusing to ship it with normal postage, the reason being that our local post office is loosing the parcels. His words were: “I don’t know what’s going on with your postal system....” I had to pay extra for either fedex or dhl

    The way I understand fitness/power is that as you get fitter you’re HR is lower for the same power; your speed is then also higher. How does the powercal show improvement in fitness and power as the power rises with a higher HR?

    Have a look at Yishunbike as well. I’ve got a set on my gravel bike and they holding up great. Ordered them without spoke holes in the rim bed. Makes for easier tubeless setup. I’ve got road clincher rims as I use them with road tyres as well at higher psi

    Im also looking for carbon rims. Have a look at Yishunbike as well. Currently using their rims on my gravel bike. Light bicycle has some nice rims, but they only offer 1 year warranty, Yishunbike 2 and Nextie has a 3 year warranty on their premium range.
