  1. Very nice.
  2. Can they be used in muddy conditions?
  3. So all you hubbers who bought the PowerCal, how is it working for you?
  4. Are the Fulcrum wheels 26 or 29 "? How strong are they for a heavier rider?
  5. Here are pics of my goodies, the 2 derailers and the shifters. Hopefully next month it will be either brakes or the crank
  6. Your like iron eating all the popcorn. Remember to chew with your mouth closed
  7. Hey relax, it is not your fight
  8. Leave some for me dude. Jy is vraatsig
  9. I should be getting some components today that I bought on the hub
  10. I have had a set of SL's and was quite happy with, even though I had a rim crack, but at your weight you will not have problems with either of them. The SL's are quite hard and uncomfortable. Have a look at campy or fulcrum as well. I am riding with Eurus wheels and they are also strong, but more comfi than the Mavics
  11. Nice, some warm feelings on the thread . I don't agree with posting your problems on a public forum. These private matters should be kept private, even if you believe that you got a bad deal.
  12. Not sure how much space is on your seatstay, but the Vis180 from Light & Motion might be an option. They also make a Mini version, but it is not as bright. I use one and my buddy has one on his DOGMA which fits on the seatstay. It is super bright and you charge it from your computer. I have used mine for 2 winters now and is still going strong.
  13. Somethings should rather stay in the closet
  14. Had DA 7900, moved over to Super Record and will not move back to DA. For me the campy shifters are much more comfi and I enjoy the shifting more. I just prefer the overall feel of campy. The best would be to test all 3 groupsets and make your decision on that.
  15. Also bought a Lazer helmet from them. Great service
  16. Wow, some good prices. Is there a weight limit on the Crest wheelsets?
  17. Thanks. It is not mine yet. Money still needs to change hands so you can
  18. Not sure about the fork yet, or the other components. I don't have the funds available now to build it, so this is going to be a longer project for me buying components as the funds are available. Gives me lots of time to do proper research, but any suggestions are welcome. I am not looking at top of the range components, but would prefer a double chainring and need good strong wheels as I weigh about 95kg. Pedals will be LOOK and groupset Shimano. Not sure about handlebar, stem and seatpost, but was thinking Ritchey. Thanks for all the positive feedback re the frame. Looks like it is a good frame
  19. I really like that crank. How is the gear change compared to your previous one?
  20. Hi robinh. I am in Paulpietersburg. Our town is situated at the foot of a mountain with a service road going to the top. We also have a railway line circling our town and those service roads are great for easier rides and nice for int. training as well. Some district roads around as well and then all those plantation roads. Couple of years back the guys laid-out some nice trails with bridges across streams etc and some really tough technical sections. They even had some races, but I don't know the condition of the trails as there is not much cycling going on aroung here at the moment
  21. I ride on my own 90% of the time. Looking at doing some mtbiking for some crosstraining and we have some really big long climbs here and nice forest trails
  22. Buying it from a bike shop
  23. Thanks
  24. Please help. I can get this frame for a very good price. Frame is still in box. What are your thoughts on this frame? Oh, please don't tell the roadies that I am looking at getting a MTB. Thanks
