SRAM and shimano quick links are use once.. but you can buy reusable ones and they can be taken on and off a bunch of times..

If you already have a hot pot at home it’s probably worth it.. I wouldn’t try it if I didn’t have my wife’s old one from her spa days.. I’ll try this out when I have extra cash.. why not 🤷🏼‍♂️.

But please, we need specs, clean images of bike and maybe what you think is an upgrade.? Bike looks cool man

I get you.. I went from mountain bike to gravel for the similar reason.. I could be cycling the half an hour it took to drive to northern farms in jozi.. got a gravel bike and did 35 then 32 and eventually 28mil tires.. I then bought a an endurance road bike with similar geometry to the gravel bike and I’ve never been happier on a bike.. I would like a gravel bike again one day but for now I’m just gonna stick some 30 maybe 32 road tires on for the dodgier road conditions up here.. but it’s awesome..

You have a gear ratio problem.. not necessarily a bike problem.. go chat to your local about changing out your cassette, and maybe chain rings to something more suitable for your fitness and strength level.. 😉👍🏻 your deraileur hopefully can take bigger cassettes 🤔 otherwise you can just change that out maybe 🤷🏼‍♂️
