No, never run a cycle event, but have been involved in other disciplines and I’m fully aware how important the end product needs to be once client has paid.. So I’m really just chucking in items to discuss. When you bring other third parties into the mix, they too want a good return on brand awareness and alignment, especially lifestyle products and services. So if you don’t have a great event and one of your sponsors is say Giant. Will you be looking at a Goant during the week? In most case studies the answer is No! So organised events carry alot weight ensuring the whole package is a good product/service to clients (us the riders). *Now let me go enjoy the flat stage of the Giro and let’s see if Cav can throw in a good bye victory to the race and country that started off his career! 👀 -Peace.🤛🏻

It’s all about cable throw, you can get an aftermarket product that you add into the shift assembly to aid the process. I have a chart with all the compatible specs. Will post it for you here. 👍🏻

Events can only get better, if you have a bad experience in a restaurant, the best thing is to let them know! Only then can you expect an improvement… same with events, we seem to lack accountability in South Africa, we rather not complain… and look at the mess we are in now. Had we really bunched together we could have swerved for those potholes we were warned about years ago! I think as fees go up so should the experience of everything running smooth, I wonder if they even practise a dry run on logistics? You see once the cash is handed over, you now have a level of expectation. So maybe a new system has to come into play. You pay half to get booked and the other half once it’s complete, if you were not happy or something happened like they promised Pamela Anderson was going to rally off the troops and she got lost in DaggerFontein then you get a discount on payment two falls away. Then let’s see if organisers can pull finger to work hard to get your full entry. It would change the game folks! Just saying.🙃

Yeah the actual bikes are normally well over what is allowed… but EU legislation has them maxed at 25 or 250W, anything above that requires a speed bike license. This will force manufacturers to focus on range/ rather than all out power mr thinks. But you’ll always get tuned backyard options…😜

I’m a secret GT fan, but that’s between us…. Just wish he wasn’t a team member of Sky 2.0 😜 A win for him after crashing on a bottle last Year would be a super story For the grand kids one day. 🤪

If the Bees put on the pressure for GT he won’t have too much guys to help calm the waters, also Bahrain will also try a few tricks I think, if you have a good strong squad, they all go out before the GC guys in the TT, and the specialist in the team will with the SD will be gathering lots of data to mill over. That TT is going to flip the switch for who ever uses it to its full advantage! So you kinda do use those riders to help figure out how the route is and plan accordingly. The mountains will always be the gap maker in GC, the top 20 will be in for a shake up for sure. I’m loving this Giro, let’s hope the Tour has the same flavour! Pog btw is recovering well, I’m sure he will be ready in time, and will Remco I didn’t have Covid be at the Tour now? Yeah lots to think about for the teams ahead of the last week.

A very good day out, but I hope the organisers take notes from all your input!…you gotta have all the Belguim elements in there for sure! I have fond memories of been in Belguim and nothing beats Beer and Frites! And a warm waffle from a street vendor when your fingers are going to fall off! I think a vote needs to be put forward: Belguim beers and BrAAi afterwards without fail, add it to the entry and get the Belguim Embassy involved. They can assist I’m sure. You don’t ask, you don’t get!😎💪🏻👍🏻

… yeah you right, lots of permutations, but I did see you use the word “chicken” which would of course….favours the Pora! 😂😂😂. I personally think this year’s edition will have a strong impact from who has a gold key players in the team, If you got extra troops in the battle and they assist, you can expose your opponents even if they don’t want to be. So far it’s been a waiting game, but this is when some teams play it safe thinking they got the race under control, last year Ineos made some bad decisions, so I don’t know if they’ve learnt from it? 🤔 This is most definitely the chance for GT to get a podium in the Giro… His team mate will be back next year with a rocket launcher to regain his misfortune.

I reckon the Pora has a plan… and they’ve chosen a stage to use there numbers… 🤔 His got an incredible opportunity this year!
