Ran out of talent this time unlike the one on day 3 where Kerry pushed me right off the road into a ditch where i had to leap off the bike and do another perfect roll. I think she was laughing way before she asked if i was ok :-) taught her well........
Had a complete blast this weekend. Think I managed to drink more beer this year :-) Trails were awesome, lost a bet but hey out if my hands. I did how ever hook up with typhoon on the last day so it some gopro footage and had some great laughs. My only complaint of the whole weekend is on 2 separate occasions in front of 2 different mates with gopro's I decided to demonstrate how to do a proper tuck n roll over the handle bars, none of them had the gopro's running. So guess I never fell off all weekend then....... Great to meet some more of the hubbers..... Roll on the next event. Think it will be the Dirt Fest at VG mid Nov
Watching mackie and rouxtjie put a tent up classic. Did it wrong 3 times and broke one pole which i had to fix for them. Hope they ride and drink beer better than this
Man that was close. Thanx Omico for sorting me out. Had nightmares about informing the GF she was not going to be riding her intense spider 26er duel sus but rather my hardtail 29er cruz. Never and I repeat never leave servicing the rear shock on the GF's bike until 3 days before the event dammit. Man i would have lost serious browny points if i had not gotten it sorted last night Ha Ha
This is a reminder to mike_bike to make sure his grips are on tight for towers..... Rode this special bike on holiday. The grips kept coming off. Not normally a problem but they were keeping the gears from coming out......
Well VG race done and dusted, last training ride on Sat, then it's taper for a week with beach and beer, back for 3 days at work then TOWERS..... I have a feeling it's going to be quite a party this year with fun riding
