I'd (respectfully) disagree. - to an extent. The agents can't be held responsible for the acts of (dare I say it?) criminals. They did what was required by confirming the parts are fake, but apart from that, IMHO, their duty ends. Where I do agree is that this would be an excellent opportunity for them to build their brand by helping people who have been conned to get onto real Pinarellos. Even if (according to Robbie) they won't be able to tell the difference...

OK - I finally watched the insert. ASG came out well. They owe AA nothing. He knew he was buying a grey import (not a fake, notice) so he absolved them of any responsibility in the matter. However, they inspected his bike for him and the other parts, so good on them. As for Cycle Science... Wow. I could not believe these two guys performed like that on TV. Ronald Biggs and Al Capone could not have looked and sounded more guilty and less convincing. They sold cr@p to people, they know it, they admit it and they try to wriggle out of any culpability. The bit where they phoned 'Colin' and asked him if he know is bike was a fake was classic!

I'd agree with you 100%, but SSpecialized are going crazy. Throwing a sue-ball at anyone on the horizon for the slightest, most tenuous reason is not the way to run a business. If they had had a decent case, I would have been 100% behind them, but when they are just throwing **** and hoping some sticks somewhere, it's unconscionable.
