  4. It`s his member title like drol is mine. It is the name I gave him but I do not know where I got it from.
  5. You left out: "Note to myself - ".
  6. Jammer mense ek probeer nie trol nie my brein het net `n sinaps misvuur gehad so ek sal nou stil bly. Groete en geniet julle naweek.
  7. Ok jammer verkeerde draad hierdie waar is die vegklub draad my pille begin in te skop nou.
  8. But the Lefty supports the Sharks, so it`s the SID for the WIN!
  9. But the Lefty looks weird . They scare me . A Left-Righty just looks safer to me.
  10. Yeah the older dual air ones because of the negative air but the new ones are solo air so much easier to set up.
  11. Oh yes almost forgot: if SID then 15mm thru-axle else flex
  12. But the pedals were one of my cleverest upgrades to save weight, please include pedals for the weight of a complete bike. And pedals are an important part of the bike they don`t pedal well without pedals. And MTB or Road? Should specify this cause I might accidentally personally attack a roadie and get suspended again.
  13. SID is nice in that it is very easy to modify to be 80, 100 or 120mm . Just add/remove the spacers inside. Not sure if current models have this ability but my 2012 SID is like this.
  14. You should be glad. I suck at everything except mountain biking.
  15. I say cut`em by 10mm each side and see how it goes, maybe cut another 10mm later if you still want to. I like it 660-680mm for 29er.
  16. All I know is that Giant is gonna bring out some very nice 27.5ers out in 2014. I think there`s gonna be Anthem and Trance versions.
  17. True, I have narrow feet so maybe they are not that bad for wider feet. But I still think the Sidis are better quality.
  18. Those R1000 Spez shoes are terrible, I have a pair and they just feel very loose. I also use some cheap Sidi shoes that I got for R750. My Sidis are much better quality than my Spez shoes, or at least they feel solid around my feet. I would go for the Giro if I had to choose between the OPs 2 choices.
  19. Taking into account that cars are also very overpriced in SA, yes bicycles are very overpriced, as is internet, cellphones/contracts, and electronic equipment/computers. But people are willing to pay these inflated prices, so why should they make it cheaper?
  20. Probably yes new spokes will be needed. Not all hubs have the same size circumference where the spokes attach. Some hubs like American Classic and Stans ZTR hubs can only be converted via their adapters.
  21. Most important thing to remember is to enjoy it, but here are some interwebs media stuffs that can teach you many things.. wait, let me google that for you http://bit.ly/1dFxDuS
  22. Is it possible to post something in this thread without trolling if everything must be a question?
  23. Can go on warra-warra-ing about causes, attitudes and whatevers, or go search for some false sense of securities like the 1.5 campaigns. The bottom line is the roads in SA are too damn dangerous and not getting any safer. I gave up road riding long ago, just too damn dangerous.
  24. FTW that is like x3 too much air in there.
  25. My Fox has the setting "Lockout Force" - a dial inside the open/close ring. I set the Lockout Force to be nice and firm so there`s a big difference between open and close. Check if you have this setting. And also remember what the pro riders say - "If your shock does not bottom out once or twice during a ride then it`s got too much air".
