  1. They were all last years and this years models.... All were warrantied.... I can see that it would just be cheaper for them to just warranty a frame when it breaks, but isn't it causing more damage as it is bad publicity.....
  2. I went down to JoBerg2C as a Private mechanic. In the process we did see some funny things. In my time there I built over 2 Specialized Epic Carbon frames.... The frames broke or cracked right at the lower pivot joints. I also know of another 5 frames that had the same problem. all was rebuilt onto new frames but all these people lost at least 2 days of riding making them un-official finishers. Is this a common occurrence with these frames. Because if it is the shouldn't Specialized do something about it. Like have a recall on all these frames.
  3. ? Why the need for a sleeping bag inner? You are going to the Berg.... It can get pretty cold if it wants to......
  4. Guys Ive known Juan Smook for ages and he is really a stand up guy...... I see some sour grapes here...... I live the following rule. Take all watches, saddle bags, computers and pumps of your bike if you take it in for a service. "Locks are there to keep an honest man Honest" Dont know who said it but so true. Keep the temptation away and nothing can get stolen....
  5. Milton's tends to leave a strong after taste Corega tabs work well. Havent had the taste yet but it worked for me..... maybe i dont make it strong enough....

  9. From News 24..... Since when is English the language of the enemy.... Or since when is the English the enemy..... http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/AWB-members-gather-for-funeral-20100409 "I'm here to bury my leader," said the man who refused to be named. "Things will follow in the coming days, not during the funeral but afterwards." When the man was asked to repeat his comments in English, he replied: "Ek praat nie die taal van die vyand nie [i don't speak the language of the enemy]."

  11. Did any one actually know that ET gave his heart to the Lord shortly after he got out of jail and that he actually changed his whole stand on the views of the AWB..... Im speaking under correction here but think that he was actually trying to change the AWB viewpoint all together.... But got lots of opposition from the inside ring..... See all the statements made by the new leader....
  12. Agreed.... education starts at home..... but if the 'home'? is not educated - how can it progress?Understand not attack no problem... i personally would rather stay and fight.?? but lets be honest - things seem to be getting way out of control at the moment. If people thought things were bad 10 years ago and uprooted themselves ??? today seems like there alot of more agendas coming to the forefront! personally - never followed ET and AWB - but their actions and those of say Bra Dilemma Malema affect us all. VIVA AFRICANOW LET US PRAY! Im getting Married in November..... Me and the wife to be is already looking for other opportunities abroad. It was a hard decision for us and allot of prayer went into the decision. My kids will have better opportunities in a country that actually follows there laws.... The decision is not for me but for one day when I have kids and to give them better opportunities than I have had (just because of my skin color) in a country with so much potential. Im not a Racist But I have had my fair share of jobs not being given to me just because I am white. I just want my kids to be able to be judged on there qualification and not skin color.

  14. Just a request from Bruce.... that people don't send flowers but rather donate the money that would have been spent to a charity like Jakaranda kiderhuis (they have a big cycle project for the orphans there)
  15. Just to get the facts straight for everyone.... I spoke to a person that spoke to Bruce while he was still at the scene of the accident.... Adam was doing a road ride alone, while Bruce and Angela was doing a mtb ride Bruce did not get a sms from Adams phone stating that he was hit by a car. Bruce was stopped by a lady that told them that a cyclist was hit by a car on the tar road. Thy then flagged down another car that then took them to the accident. It was not a hit and run like stated before. Bruce got to the scene and the driver of the vehicle was still at the scene..... I dont know much more than this....

  20. My DS story is good and bad.... Had a Suunto sent in through the THE GROVE DS.... The sales guy told me no longer than 2 weeks and it will be back... 2weeks pass, I get a call saying that my watch has not arrived but he wil follow up on it. Long story short ( Suunto no stock this and that blah blah)After i was told there is stock by the Suunto guy at tech center. 14Weeks later I get my Suunto back. every thing fixed like I asked. Charged for a brand spanking new Battery but the watch does not even show an inkling of Life.... i ask the clerk about it. He shrugs his shoulder. Says will follow up on Monday past and call me. Monday 14h00 he calls me. Suunto is sending a brand new battery wil cal me when its here... Tuesday he calls and gives a tracking nr. I must collect on Sat as i work during the week and cant get there. So my Take.... Bad service from Suunto but really awesome service from DS. But HAGAR I agree with your argument....
