    Big Red Barn

Hi Uni The stinky bit you are referring to is compliments of the waste water purification plant next door. I stay in midstream right next door to big red barn so I ride there atleast once a week. Love the place. Pm me if you and hubby would like some company on your next ride. We have a nice lil friendly group of people that join in regularly Cheers A
  2. Wonder why it isn't being used widely. I see only two pages of listed bikes. I do a lot of work for the insurance industry, I wonder if they will be willing to contribute the information that they have ...
  3. Hi Guys I will be more than happy to design and host a central database for registering stolen bikes for free. Will just need some help with getting the specification up to give to my development team. Please let me know if you would like to contribute some ideas Cheers Andre
  4. Hi, let me know allways up for a nice social groenies run
  5. Event was great except for the blerrie long queue to get race number. Good idea to leave most of the single track for the last 20 kms.

  12. Hi. I wouldnt ride to big red barn from midstream, the last bit next to the railway line is dodgy imo. We regularly ride from midstream to groenkloof or voortrekker and back. You are welcome to join .

  16. Yip. I agree. I have been riding for years and love the technical as i used to race enduros There are a few bad spots Espesially after rain. My tumble was on the rocky descent from the hill on the south side
  17. Thx guys. Seeing the plastic surgeon this afternoon They will then decide if I need to be made prettier or not
  18. Broken facial bones. Fluid on tempral lobe. No ideawhat my bike looks like. Was coming down a hill and lost the front end
  19. Had a serious tumble today. Currently typing this from my hospital bed. But not the reason for my post. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone thathelped me. Including the guy that is keeping my bike for me. You all rock!!! The guy on the red and white cannondale aka Andre
  20. Any idea where I can buy some in JHB ? I see that chainreaction has nice ones but cant seem to find a local supplier ? Thx
  21. the owner would have to sell said 4x4 for any "prokerower" to want to take on this many people.
  22. Hi everyone My apologies for hijacking this mud sling :-) Was just looking at the worst case scenario here . Lets say that this 4x4 did actually hit the cyclist in question... lets forget about criminal prosecution of the driver here for a second Was looking at the road accident amendment act last night because what struck me is that these testosterone displays are becoming more frequent, so what if, some scary points Cover has been limited to 200k a year you have no recourse against the driver from a civil perspective all collisions from 2008 are basically no fault when it comes to personal injury or death Looking at the above we all need extra life cover to cover our families if we do become one a splat on the tar. Again we have been screwed by a gov. They are just pocketing the levy on fuel as another form of tax. Very depressing
  23. Really enjoyed the race this year , lost a tire on the rocky bits towards the end but still improved my time with just over an hour. Think the time in the saddle doing technical bits is paying off :-)
  24. A bike wash would have been nice yes lol , the resturant outside is very big , I picked the table right on the side where I could balance my bike on a brick wall , very far away from any kids I have kids myself, Papachinos in midrand is brilliant , BTW I have been there with my bike they didnt mind parking it in a corner of the shop for me.
  25. I have been registered for a while. I am ussually a very mild mannered and friendly person. I dont swear The point with mentioning a price point was to illustrate value not to brag. if i wanted to brag i would have mentioned inches :-) Trolls are acceptable they keep forums alive ;-)
