    Formula 1...

Would this stuff up happened with Lewis? Or would he, as he did in the previous race, premeditated the SC and made sure they where ready for it? I agree it showed the the mercs are way in another league, but does winning 7 WC just happen?

    Who remembers?

Company in the trade directories of Maitland between 1930 and 1970. The bottle is after 1962 when the silkscreen process on bottles was patented. Friend of mine who collect South African bottles, his collection is around 2500 different companys gave me the info. The most he spent on a codd (bottle with the marble in) was R3 000, in 2013.

    A dry January

Been doing this for a number of years now. For me it is more about braking the habbit of getting home and opening a beer. Or cooking and opening a bottle of wine. Now i drink huge amounts of water and coffee. Our restaurant bill also look super cheap now. I did have a beer on Sunday, after a Hippo popped up next to my raft rather unexpected...

    Haval

I know a franchise dealer in PTA, he owned a BMW dealership before and still owns one. His words, was that BMW sent engineers to build the haval factory as to be able to build BMWs in China due to laws. So all processes was BMW based. For price and value for money, i will consider when the time arrives.
  16. World champs in Pretoria tomorrow.
  17. On this issue, I had a few thoughts and comments today. We have a KFC 800m from our house, my better half who has something growing inside her had a craving for some KFC. No problem for me, it is close. I arrive and had to walk past 6 guys/homeless asking me for food/money, that is within the 15 meters to the door, next to the door somebody parked a guy in a wheelchair begging. I turned around and went to another KFC 4km away. I phoned them and complained. Am i wrong in feeling uncomfortable? Am I "truly blesses" that I have a few rand to spend on my wife's cravings but will only buy the beer that is on special?
  18. Another Boeing 737, but it seems unrelated: https://edition.cnn.com/2019/05/03/us/jacksonville-commercial-plane-river/index.html

  20. You have to keep your wife mate. If i get home at one, even sober and ask for a bit of love there will be hell to pay that will end with me not evening having the privilege of the sleeping inside the house.
  21. The last few days have been crazy busy from Waterkloof. Jets flying all day over the office makes it hard not to want to sit outside. Helicopters circling around and even heavy transport type planes going overhead every now and then. As you can see my knowledge is they look cool and go fast.
  22. My wife found a guy in PTA who cast them himself. He uses polyurethane. If you need some let me know, I have somebody who will be going back to CT on Wednesday next week.
  23. So I finished my wifes woodwork project, and in the end it was really easy and fun, as my daughter helped all the way and loves it. She will be painting it over the weekend if the rain stays away. Just did a rig for the holes and done. Cost: Shutterply R270 Grips R300/kg (this was 1kg) T-Nuts R0.45 each (Gelmar) Bolts R0.80 (Cosmo SIlverton) Other bits and bobs Only problem is after a few minutes it was just too easy. She still needs to learn the correct technique of not pulling her up on her arms, but we will get there. So next project is to build an overhang.
  24. There is a small farming community in the North West near Mafikeng, Mareetsane. They have a Skaapkop evening once a year in September. One big plaas opskop, with all the farmers in the area getting dressed up, the gents even wear trousers. They do 600 skaapkoppe on the spit that night (there are salads, oxtail and chicken potjie as well). Lost all my photos due to donation of phone to the underprivileged. If you ever want to experience something like that, phone the Mareetsane hotel, it is the first Friday in September every year. . I had to ask my wife, who does not stay awake after 11 at night, at 4'in the morning if we could please go to bed.
