  1. Yeah except Campagnolo is more reliable, better looking and IMHO better performing than Shimano. Only problem with it is that its pricey to buy. I rode Shimano for years and them switched to 10sp Record and its chalk and cheese. That was 2 years and 6000km ago, not a single problem. And the wheels are very nice...
  2. McLaren P1 vs 2015 Z06 at Circuit of the Americas. The difference between a very fast car, and a very, very, very fast car.
  3. Ah the M coupe. I remember being in the passenger seat of my dad's STi whilst we were getting a hiding by one of these on the N1
  4. I mean this new 488 that is coming out, which is apparently much faster. Interesting that a 458 is only slightly slower around Fiorano. And this new car (488) is apparently 2 seconds faster. Dunno if thats by simulation though.
  5. I find it absolutely incredible that today's 'baby' Ferrari will run rings around the Enzo, the best car/Ferrari on sale less than 10 years ago. 661hp (495kW) and 561 lb ft (760Nm) in a road going car!! Incredible.

Gayle could do some serious damage here. Hopefully we aren't gonna be on the receiving end of a 438 game
  8. I get you. Just a thought. Have fun either way
  9. I'm no motorbike fundi, but this dilemma is common when purchasing anything really. For me, the question is what you ultimately want, and if you do buy something cheaper/stepping stone, how much are you gonna get back for it when you ultimately want to upgrade (if you ever do). So say a KLR 650 is R40000 (quick gumtree check) and the 990 Adventure is R100000, are you going to be happy throwing away some cash into your stepping stone?

Completely freak accident. Very rare complication, and honestly nothing that could be done. He could have copped another 1000 on the chin and not had that happen to him again. RIP to a talented player.
  11. What a great time to be alive. Cars like the 918/LaFerrari/P1 prove that the future of motoring is very bright indeed.
  12. Yes it really should. I have an 11sp Record crankset working with the older gen 10sp Record other bits. Shifting is a proper as it ought to be. Don't think you'll run into trouble, but then again this is only my single experience.
  13. I'd love to drive one. See what all of the fuss is about. Looks brilliant to be honest. Lots of power, 4wd, reasonable fuel economy. Still reckon I'd have a M235i. But, that decision will have to be put off until I can get one or the other.
  14. I wish they had made the A45 a little less boy racer, and stuck to the original A class design. That ghastly wing on the back. Plus 265kW/450Nm from a blown 2.0L 4-cyl? Longevity much?
  15. One of my favourite live concert performances. Love this DVD:
  16. A mate of mine has one. It is such a nice car in every way. The perfect, everyday hot hatch, that you wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen in. And the Golf 7 GTi shape is so nice. What colour are you getting it in?
  17. Absolutely lovely car. Many happy kays in her.
  18. Coincidence I think. I think the VW group will take Renault to the cleaners if they copied the R8 design. But here's an R8 for comparison:
  19. I honestly don't know mate. I just looked at the body shape and looks very R8 to me. You're definitely right, it was just a silly thought on my part.
  20. One the best sounding V12's I think.
  21. Is it just me, or is this an Audi R8 with a bodykit and a Peugeot badge
  22. Hold on, pray, then start reciting your medical aid details for the paramedic.
  23. Having a resting HR of 28 must have terminally terrifying for Indurain. Hearing and feeling your heart beat like that every 2-3 seconds with violent force.
  24. Indeed. If you have a listen to the Foo's song, the one riff (+- 2:30-3:00) if VERY reminiscent of Dio's Holy Diver riff. So I dunno if that is a tribute, or if they got a bit greedy with the influences part of their documentary
