@Borriz .... as stated, budget was thinking R7k for 2nd hand. i'm up for all terrains for MTB'ing i.e. gravel, sand, wet, dry, crossing streams, single track. distances....i cant say....depends on the terrain

well it's an old dura-ace hub.... velo, so from wot u say, i can just transfer the cluster onto the 8 speed hub? schweet! time to get my backup bike on the road again

there's vissershok and tiekkiedraai ..... thats the only "hills" close to milnerton i know of for me, the best hill training is s/suburbs side....constantia nek, ou kaapse weg, red hill.....for DC training i cycled from parklands that way and met up with my brother and cycled back. you looking at 130kms or more depending the route

Hi, Quick (maybe dumb) question.... I have a 9 speed hub & cluster from a busted up wheel. I have another wheel which is an 8 speed. So from what I know, 8 & 9 speed are not compatible....so my question is, can I have the freehub body from the 9 speed transferred to the 8 speed wheel along with the 9 speed cluster? Thx

some sites....show 40km/h winds....so i will wait till saturday to see sunday's predictions....u just cannot rely on their predictions anymore

It's called negotiations a.k.a bribery and corruption! My finance minister now has a new phone and some new attire and the capital expenditure regarding a so-called "bike necessity" has gone "unnoticed" i'm not too sure if mine is will to "negotiate".... lol i must already but a birthday present....so thats not gonna count

my finance minister will not allow me to buy a 1800 comp now after spending a good couple of k on my 'new' bike

this morning on our way back down prince george dr. cycling just inside the yellow line, some silly biker decides to come flying down on our inside (in the yellow line)....thankfully there was a metro cop which saw and put on his sirens and chased down the biker....about 2kms later i had to give my 2cents when we passed them after the biker had been pulled over to the metro
