But joh, that kid (Luke) can ride. EDIT: And yeah - paarl is a weekend only thing, I'm afraid. Work in century city and live in wynberg...

Forks are untouched, apart from a couple of rubs on the crown - something that needs to be sorted with a bit of strategic padding. The pool noodles do a fantastic job, but degrade after a while. Best alternative so far is inner tubes, but that could get expensive at R 30 - R 40 a tube.

Oh and the video is misleading. That drop I roll down (still can't bring myself to drop it properly) has a 1.5m drop to the actual landing, but I roll it for now cos I'm a bit of a pussy. The pallet jump (where you hear me connect the wood at the end) is about the same, but faster. Yet I do it no problem (wtf?) The drop further down before the small tabletop is about 1.2m to flat. LEKKER day out.
