  1. 27 internal. Looks like a properly beastly profile on the rim itself. And it looks PIMP with the tires.
  2. Building is ownbed by Growthpoint, rented by Disco. They're coming out of 4 separate buildings with higher total rental charges and there's a distinct benefit to having everyone in one spot, especially in Sandton.
  3. yes, but the majority shouldn't be on 100mm XC race whippets. Not the right tool for your average joe warrior.
  4. All of your points (apart from the wider rims - that would have been nice) are reasons why this bike exists. It's better for Joe average, cos the more relaxed head angle inspires confidence. It's got a dropper, because they're awesome. It's got heavy tires cos they are better suited to general riding than weight weenie single ply POS's. Racing xc bikes should only be for RACERS at the pointy end
  5. Yes, but I'd advise you to use DHL to ship. Far easier. Clothing is 40% Helmets 30 Full bikes 15 Parts 0 Then VAT is calculated on the order value plus duties ex shipping plus 10% so works out at 15.4% of the post duty goods value
  6. 2/4 or halfway. Any lower and it doesn't push enough air, any higher and it's pushing too much air to cool / heat to the temp ou desire. On mine it's most efficient at about 30% - I have 10 light bars and 3 is the spot I find myself at most often.
  7. Would be the perfect complement to my Reign. Entered and holding thumbs it's me for a change!!!
  8. LOL. I'm just gonna hand the lot over to Droo and say "FIX". Got a couple of Crowbars at home. Those green ones. I've broken 2 of them trying to seat a WTB Weirwolf on a set of Spank Subrosas. Learns a bit about seating tyres since then.
  9. That from the Derby website, and one of the main reasons I wasn't concerned about clearance.
  10. Overall width of the tyre won't change by much. See: WIDE RIMS CHANGE TO TIRE SIZE: Going to wider rims, the tire's circumference doesn't grow taller. I've closely measured rollout curcumference which calculates to tire height, and measured knob width too. Using the same 2.3 Pacenti neo-moto tire on a 650b x 40mm Derby Rims compared to a 28mm Blunt, the tire doesn't grow taller, the tire is no higher at the center knobs, and the edge knobs are actually a very small measurement narrower, about 0.0225 inch or 0.6 mm narrower. But the edge knobs do "stand up" a little higher making a more "square" tread profile, and these edge knobs do come closer to the arch of a fork or yoke of a chain-stay by about 1.5mm, so it is slightly closer clearance above the edge knobs. 28mm internal 34mm internal
  11. Yeah, you need to pay attention to it. I'd recommend starting from the get-go.
  12. May be worth it to go to the guy I use. Ziggy. Ex Bimmer mech operating out of Muizenberg / Lakeside. Bloody good. Stargate auto. Dunno why he didn't just go with Stardust. And the original audi ones are made by LUK. That's who they get them through.
  13. I have to say that this, like the Kings Speech, looks excellent.
