  1. This. Strava doesn't seem to like pulling HR data from Garmin, sometimes. Plus, it's far quicker to get the sync from GC than Strava.
  2. LOL. Almost time to replace my whetstone, so this is on the list!

  4. Get a whetstone and learn how to sharpen it yourself. It really is easy, and you have to be a real dullard (har har) to ruin the edge...
  5. 100%. A bit of feta mixed in with the caramelized mushroom / onion mix would be good. And of course, must include garlic in the onions.
  6. Saw this yesterday. HOLY FECK. I wants it. I wants it now.
  7. Life happens sometimes... If you're suddenly unable to train, that 3,000 point ride will stand you in good stead if your goal is 1,200 per week...

  12. So he's still got the pace. BRILLIANT! As for the camera - tyre analysis.
  13. Yep. Discussed about a page or 2 back. Seems it was too easy to hack the system, so they HAD to implement the HR / kCal per hour ruling.
  14. Depends on the club, as they each have different prices depending on what facilities they have there. As an indication, 350 to 550 per month for a single club membership, afaik
  15. Strava doesn't like static activities. It likes to record movement as well as heart rate. Use the exercise app on the watch. Should be able to do it. Then set it to sync with Strava and the discovery app
  16. Still does the job, and still gives you up to 3,000 points for a 2hr + ride at avg 70% of your age-based HR. Not % of HRR, or your unique Max HR base don your fitness, just (220-age)x70%
