  2. So does Mikes' clip a tray to your handlebars?? dougaroony2008-10-05 03:45:27
  3. Do other makes of HRM's telemetry straps give the same crap as the Polar ones?
  4. 18? Wow!! You shoulda seen my rig when I was that age, a baby blue LeJeune, weighed about 12kg's but I thought I was da shoit. Nice ride dude, hope you have many happy (and safe) km's
  5. I wouldnt mind the full carbon Dura Ace crankset. One of the pro teams was testing it out overseas. Wonder if Shimano will release it to us plebs
  6. Wisecrack, the weight saving from the 7800 to 7900 is approx 130g. I was looking at just getting the STI levers (40g) and keeping the rest of the 7800 stuff as is.
  7. The straps are finicky yes, definitely in need of design improvement
  8. very nice, that gets a 747 on the Droolmeter
  9. ND, the gel wont help any if the sensors are clogged. Before spending cash on the goo, unclip the battery and hand wash the strap with some washing detergent and hot water, then rinse it out. I had the same problem with mine.
  10. sweet, bring it on clic
  11. Another important piece of info to help you sleep better at night, when you have finished inflating the tire, make sure all the air is out of the bomb before unscrewing it from the adapter. A mate of mine forgot to do this and his adapter exploded in his hand.
  12. I agree with you there, but if pricing is too steep then consumers will just buy cheaper 'super dooper' stuff.
  13. I guess we will just have to see Mud Dee dougaroony2008-09-28 02:45:38
  14. It looks like Easton might be pricing themselves out of the market on this one guys. Its a shame because their other parts (seatposts, bars, stems, wheels and forks) have been lighter and cheaper than their competitors. dougaroony2008-09-28 02:18:53
  15. Thanks for the raves guys . Sure Markslc01, I dont wanna do my nads and backside a disservice if the clamp wears and my seat suddenly points north and I go sliding off the back onto my back tire. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit nervy but the bike store didnt have the new 2 bolt ones in stock. Im sure Easton will make good on the warranty though (and skin grows back ) dougaroony2008-09-25 23:32:32
  16. I remember you saying the Deda fork was light - it looks good on your new Scott.
  17. I insured it with Cyclesure yesterday, crazy not to have insurance on a bike nowdays if you ask me .. ouch!!
  18. Thanks Speedi, the frame is about 150g heavier than the Scott but the straight fork is a bit lighter than the bladed fork. XTC, its full DA. The bike weighs in at 6.95kg's with my Ascent II's. I train with Ksyrium Elites so im about another 500g heavier unless its race day.
  19. Check out my new ride, one week old today .
  20. Well enjoy, I just built my new ride last week, will post some pics soon
  21. Hey Speedi, thanks for the big up there, you da man, enjoy and take care mate
  22. have you done the maiden voyage yet?
  23. Hey Speedi, nice ride dude. May it be as lucky for you as it was for me
  24. I agree with Azonic on the sunlight dishwashing liquid. Clean green has become weaker - it used to eat through anything now I think they dilute it while still charging us like a wounded buffalo for the stuff.
