  1. Def. not Discovery . Don't agree with a previous post. You DON'T get what jou pay for, regardless of your option. The Discovery representatives and the reps. from their agent , AON, are TOTALLY useless , unapproachable and uncontactable.
  2. Wayne from Chris Willemse had me sorted with Easton rims that I sourced from them . About R850 later.
  3. Wonder how this will affect the Piston Ring Car Club ? The club house is also on the AECI grounds. Sorry if this is slightly off topic.
  4. I had the reverse problem with EASTON wheels that I bought from CWC. The wheels were equiped for a 15mm tru-axle and I needed a QR option. Wayne, from CWC , were extremely helpfull in sourcing the required adapter. If you look at the EASTON wheels website , there is a video showing the procedures to help you with your conversion. Seems easy enough.
  5. This is not a Rant or Rave. I ordered the Easton EA70 XC wheelset from CWC. Discovered that the front wheel uses Tru Axle. I needed QR to match my fork. CWC said I could return wheels. Howerver , Hubbers informed me that an adapter is available. I informed CWC accordingly. The said adapter was delivered in good time. HOWEVER the adaptor did not include the QR scewer. Im I unfair to have expected this ?
  6. Many thanks to all for their replies. Will follow up with my LBS
  7. In my haste to buy Easton EA70 wheels from CWC, I , upon opening up the boxes realized that the front wheel did not have a QR. CWC informed me that it uses a Tru- Axle and that this combination will not work on my Rockshock but I can return the wheels. However, I do not fully comprehend the set-up. Is there some solution to the problem in the form of an adaptor ?
