I trust your bikes ok and you managed to get the mess of, I hate a dirty bike, really does not go as well as a clean one

So I own a number of properties in JHB and about 2.5 years ago I noticed this new charge on my Electricity accounts called Service charge, I took this up with them but got no explanation as to what this is for, then sort of forgot about it and then looked into it again last month to find out that this charge of R226.56 plus 14% vat is for them coming out and reading the meter. Now I then took all my accounts for the last 30 months that the reading was actually only taken 3 times per year, thus firstly we are grossly over charged at R258.28 (Incl VAT) a pop to read the meter that takes all of 30 seconds but I have been charged an amount of R7748.35 when they only delived services to the value of R3099.34, thus they have defrauded me to the extend of R4649.01. Now the company charging this fee is paid every month, regardless of wheter they have read the meters or not, and I am sure is owned by some politically connected cronnie who is being paid for not actually working, no I have a number of properties thus this cost for me no starts becoming significant, and if we take it over all the JHB properties it probably runs into the hundreds of millions being stolen every month. I am planning to take legal action against the town council for this and if anyone is keen to get involved please pm me.

Think that's bad, so I run out of talent on the Bekker Bundu bash and end up taking a tumble on second or 3 desent of the day, get up feeling ok so I decide to finish the race. End up going to Millpark where they charge me R1200 to be allowed into the casualty and I am told this is what it costs and as I am not on a medical aid I need to pay, so I pay (Price money for the day R500, medical bill R1200, Loss for the day R700). So after waiting about an hour I'm admitted and the doctor briefly shows his face, about 2 min and tells the nurse to clean up the wound and send me for Xray's. Xray bill received through the post R1350 so now the loss for the day is upto R2050. Doctor takes a look at the xray, stiches up my chin (3 stiches) and cleans out my knee as the cut is all the way to the bone and then stiches this up with one stich. Time spent by doctor - 15min. So I go home, sob for 10days as I am not allowed to ride at all and start healing, guess what, I have just received a bill from the doctor for a further R3927, so what the F*CK did I pay the hospital R1200 for and how can he justify a R3927 bill, so one tumble would have cost me more than R6000, I think Medical Proffesionals should be placed in the same category as bankers.

For the record, I am not a Cyclelab Club member ( I'm a former member) thus my view point could not be constued as being scewed but I will say the following, I have partaken in their club rides in both JHB and PTA anw must say that they are very well orginised and and very well run. The club rides do cater for the true weekend warriors (thus the true band of avearge Joe's on whom our sport is dependant for its survival and to whom I as one is greatly and true greatfull for their paticipation as they are the ones who grant us the oppertunity to race and compete by spending their hard earned Rands in the cycling and related shops thus growing the industry). When ever I have taken part in CL club rides I have always found them to be well supported from a logistical perspective and have regularly seen Lovemore supporting non CL riders who have punctured on the Craddle route regardless of whether they are part of the CL club ride or not. Personally I think us hubbers are way to quick to shoot of our mouths, maybe because its the only time where we get to say our say and we are way to quick to condem. Now I have stated clearly i am not a CL fan, however I know a lot of club members, they are one hell of a nice bunch of people and I have found that CL is always genuine in their approach to try and maky things better for all cyclist, yes just like everyone else they compete for your membership but I have found them to often go above and beyond and as such think and believe it can only be really short sighted little pip squeeks that can only critisize, please people, what have you done to make cycling a better sport for all, only once you have answered this should you consider critizing those how work to make it better for all.

Why do people place so much importance on the seeding index, its not a true reflection of the best riders. It's easy to get into the top 5 or 10 in your cat and to stay their regarless of how well you raced or where you actually finish in the races, it seems to be more of a ego trip for some than anything else, just my Zim$30,000,000,000,000 worth.

No things are tight, interest rates are high and consumers are being suficated under the heavy burden of servicing this recklessly granted debt, and guess what the banks are doing, they are tightening the nose, trying everything to secure assets against the debt that they had so recklessly granted.
