  1. I would'nt wager any money on them delivering, its not justbthe cost of the entries, the flights and so forth, it is also the 10's of hours spent training and getting ready, but then for Mango uts all about the botom line, so rather than having happy customers its more important to make profit at all cost and to divert responsibility and accountability for screwing up, for them its only a few cyclist

  4. Just called their "customer care" line, took 10 minutes to get through, they should change the name to "COULD'NT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER" line.
  5. Mango = useless and could'nt care, I will avoid flying them as their attitude totally suck, their where 25 bikes that this was done to, so that is atleast 25 irrate customers
  6. So we all pay our R200 axtra fees to fly our bikes with us to DBN to go do the Sani, so we arrive this morning just to be told by Mango that the plane was overweight and that they offloaded the bikes and that they will arrive on the next flight at 12:35, just to be called againat 11:30 to again be told that again the flight was over weight and the bikes wher'nt loaded and that now they will arrive in DBN at 17:00 this evening, and again, they could give us no assuarnce that the bikes would actually arrive, now everybodynpre booked there bike for starters, so I think it is past pathetic that they could be so careless and negligent, who knows wheter our bikes will even arrive, it seems that the bottom line far outweighs the customer care, come on mango how come all the other airlines can get it right
  7. According to govmunt Gauteng will be changing its name back to Transvaal, as the current goverments policies are more in line with that of the old Transvaal when it was known that Die WET van Transvaal is K#K en betaal. Now they want us tom pay ETolls, paid parking in Parkhurst and other areas, its just gonna get better, and in other news the Etoll gantries that was installed at great expense will be relocated to Plettenberg Bay, where they will be left in the same field as the old NP Toilets which are still their.
  8. And it is the SACP IDOTS who keep doing their best to keep these same politicians in power, what a joke, nothing but lip service and a desperate attempt for a dying party to try and grab some form of publicity
  9. CYCLIST 1 HIPPO 0
  10. Well then maybe he could get a job collecting etolls, or maybe not, cause their is no guarentee the monies will be handed over, saying that, there is currently no guarentee the monies will end up where it is meant to be, and that would not be some ANC connected persons back pocket or paying for caddy fees at the DBN country club
  11. Well, always remeber, two bicycles on the road constutes a race, so if you have your race number on that must make it official
  12. Well he was quoted as saying It is very important to be differant But Julius, maybe it is more important to be employed

  16. Just 2 questions, 1. Do you shop online 2. And why do you shop online - is it price - is it for greater variety - or is it because your lbs don't stock what you want
  17. When you are over a certain age catagory you can CHOOSE to either ride in you age catagory or to race down a cat or two, provided in WP your seeding is still good enough or you believe that you can still hang in and survive, you will notice that their are still a few VETS40+ that race and ride in the elite cats in staed of racing in their own cat, if you are still good enough then you have the choice whether you want to play with the old topies or take on the lities
  18. What ever buddy, let your pedals do the talking, mine does.
  19. PS bikes been to SRAM last time, tney set the gears, went for a ride today, gues what ,same ****
  20. Not the only person having the problem, been to a number of "mecanics", get set fine for the firts few kays till we hit the dirt , then it stars, yes its a gard tail, and no this is not a april fools joke, very frustrating, especialy when racing, has cost me a number of category wins over the last 12 months, as said before SRAM SUCKS, think I would rather ride a single speed fixie before I ride SRAM again
  21. Bought a new MTB a year ago that was fitted with SRAM XO group set and compact crank, it has been the most frustrating year on a MTB, chain keeps on jumping off the big blade in the front and gears keep on slipping at the back, has cost me a couple of grand due to chains bending and a rear deraileur bending due to this chain jumping offf, today again, as soon as the stupid thing hits the dirt the crap starts, kannie meer nie korporaal, cant wait to get another bike with XT or XTR, nothing can be as bad and frustrating as this stupid SRAM.
  22. WP clapped TT, and Marius Nel 3rd Vets 45-49
  23. Sub vets where actually slower than the vets, 10th in the vets 40+ would still have podiumed in the sub vets 35 - 39
