  1. Seriously. Should I take more than 1?
  2. Was wondering if someone was going to ask that. No its not. I will have to take some tubes with all the way.
  3. Help me please. My bicycle has got small block eight tyres on. Will this do for Karoo2Coast. And if it is not the correct option, how bad a option is it?
  4. My first. Moer nervous
  5. Got a Raleigh RC6000. It is solid. Due to budget I will probably ride it till my wheels fall of. Put on some Gator Skins and it is a hassle free bike.
  6. Very nice clip. I'll put it down for a must do for next year.
  7. Looks like nice Karoo2Coast distances. But alas, it is my son's birthday this weekend....
  8. Thanx everyone. Will try to get extra spacers. But Fanie's picture has got me worried. There might be a reason I got it for free....
  9. I am new to MTB. Got a pair of used Look Quartz pedals. Getting the pedal to stick is not the problem. But getting out is a mission. (At least when I compare it to my road bike.) So I am worried about what will happen if I need to get of the bike rapidly. Is this normal, or is there something I can do to make it less tight? And just before this starts an argument, I want to go with clip ins. I tried the flats but didn't like it at all.
  10. Legs should be fine to finish. Not set any records though.
  11. So I broke the credit card and got the 29'er silverback. Couldn't go all out and put on tubless, but I am a roady so I should be able to swop out a tube fast enough..... What else do I need to do this race, as in really REALLY need. Keeping in mind the the funds has dried up pretty much. (Especially after the argus like price of entry)
  12. What do they normally go for? And where would I find one. With or without an owners manual. Can I get it with a 29'er, or is a 26'er better?
  13. I have the dome on pvr. Still have to start it.
  14. ray donovan!!!!
  15. Leave these deep questions for a Friday. Or just leave it completely. This is a whole pallet of cans of worms....
  16. Banana and baby potatoes. With a few gels along the way. I find that when I ride for more than 2 hours I start getting hungry and after a while it is all I can think of. The potatoes really takes the edge off the hunger. And it is easy to prep and eat in the ride. I also need something to break the sweet of the gels and powerade
  17. Thanx, now I also know.
  18. I have to go count. Is it big blade over small blade?
  19. I want to try my kids on the orange route at radish. So I will buy my permit from Devonvalle.
  20. Can I buy a day permit somewhere? And what is the price?
  21. I know you guys are all big and fast riders. But I want to take my children (boy,8 and girl, 7) on the 15km race. Problem is they have BMX bike and dad can not afford new bikes for them. Would they be able to do it. Would they be allowed to do it? Before anyone askes, I will be riding with them, or at least the slowest one. I will not shift my parent duties to Dirtopia
  22. Where did you see the GT? I am liking that
  23. We should get Hub shirts made. saw a design at Anatomic, but have never seen it at a race. But maybe I race to slow for most Hubbers...
  24. What speed/time you aiming at for this sunday En los nou die reen praatjies voor iemand iemand thunder?
  25. I had one built - Company called Strides - 082 855 3005 (Mark Strijdom). Solid unit. They upgrade the trailor lid suspension too to hold the weight. How many bikes does yours hold?
