Is 'n baie cool idee! Stem saam met julle dat mens God se teenwoordigheid en hand in die skepping baie voel en sien as mens mtb! Mens kan ook probeer om so 'n sel groep bymekaar te kry. Eerder as om by iemand se huis bymekaar te kom, kan mens trap na 'n cool spot, met 'n lekker view en daar bybel lees ens. Tanx vdi great idee clauderoux!

My friend was almost tonight mugged on the way back to welgevonden after a cycle in jonkers. Was at about 18:20, so still light outside. The first person tried to knock him off his bike with a plank, but luckily missed. Probably to high to even see straight. 3 other people then jumped in front of him, but he got around them. This happened on the climb as you head to welgevonden opposite the nitvoorbji turn out. Makes me want to take an bat and go and hit someone, but this won't help! It sucks that we as cyclist and normal people have to look over our shoulders the whole time. I as a student have always lived in this bubble and though things like this won't happen to me. Please guys if you ride on this road/or any road be safe!

Was disappointing to see the amount of GU and chocolate rappers lying on the road. Anywhere we can mtb is a privilege! We should never take that for granted

I want to ask you guys. Do you think taking extra chances on the downhill is worth it? Assuming some of the people that fell were riding above there capability to make up time. Do you not make up more time by climbing faster?

Was my 2nd one. Improved by 2 min, although I thought it would be more. The wind that blew into our faces going down simola was unnecessary, they could have left that out ;-)! But enjoyed it, next year I'll be back to get closer to the 4 hours mark! Congrats to all who finished!

Think I'm going to the doc today. Got a cold on thursday, and it is not going away. Would be a big disappointment if I can't ride on sunday. Hope all of you with colds or headache are healthy for sunday's race!

Did the 60, was going good till just after the water point at delheim. Got the first one there. Changed the tire and carried on, and just after the last long climb I felt my back wheel moving under me. Bombed it, rode on for a bit but didn't seal, so walked and jogged back to the finish

Wish I knew that before!!! Walked from the top of stellenbosch berg because of my second flat tire....

I'll most probably need to stop for some rest, so won't be a problem for me ;-)

Ekt nie gery nie maar sjoe daar was 'n paar kwaai manne op die einde. Paar wat 35 wou dien ht met 20 opgeindig ens ens. Stem saam met jorrie dat die mense van wolseley dit nou regtig sleg gvang ht. Mens moet maar goed eerder dalk afstel as dit sleg verloop as eerder try en regmaak en dit net nog erger maak.
