    I had too giggle when reading this. UCI aren't terribly interested in anything but money..... So this won't get attention unless their pockets start feeling it. Too many old school riders and administrators are still out there saying, crashes are part of racing

    Didn't mean to imply it was simple. Probably depends on whether a coach will always trust his athlete or not. Visa versa for telling a athlete he is giving him vitamins, when it's not

    Problem with testing before events as some suggested, is that if you are smart, you dope off-season, build that form. Chances of getting tested is much lower. Then there is coaching staff that may have influence, whom should also be targeted, think Neotel. (Cyclists had to get his supply some where). If you are a coach, surely you'll see a spike in form. Good team, 2 caught doping on the team. They are still racing, coach is still coaching... The sport is still so small in comparison to rugby, cricket etc in SA.

    Wonder if the PPA would be willing to suspend such riders if they are reported. And for arguments sake, having a witness, so that it's not just one cyclist's word against another
