Living in Groot Brak, close to George, I will never do the Outeniqua pass by bicycle only because of the safety (stupid car drivers) aspect. Ok you guys might have a laugh now, my father in law bought a single cab Mahindra and a double cab both 4x2. I must say that for what one pays you get a good deal. Loadbin on sc is so big I loaded 2 mtb's lying down flat without them touching each other. The engines are strong, 2.2 diesel turbo with intercooler, 6 speed manual gearbox, loads of extras in comparison price wise with other bakkies and I'm almost [emoji817]% sure that they will be at the bottom of the "desired" vehicle list. Did a 48km ride to Brandwag and Hartenbos. Saw quite a few motorbikes heading home, probably passed about 40 from Brandwag to Hartenbos and almost all of them were newish BMW GS and the tourer version road bikes.
