Hit a cateye and nearly ate tar, they aren't quite as soft as when you drive over them in a car!

It was my first road race, managed a 3:03 I loved it and I'm totally stoked! Road racing is not k@k as I thought!

I used Rennies for a while and they seemed to work well, but but then I read that taking them during exercise can cause kidney stones and other kidney problems. Does anyone know more about this?

Giant bottles (at Sportsmans wharehouse) are shorter than regular bottles, but hold almost as much liquid. Perfect for small full susser frames. Wallee2008-09-11 03:40:48

First I tried a regular aluminium cage, but the bottle fell out over the rough stuff then I bought a regular Specialized plastic bottle cage that holds the bottle securely around the circumference, and used thick cable ties to attach it to the seat post. Has worked like a charm for over 500km (even through the rocky Dirty Harry 75k last weekend ) and I still have room for a tube etc. under the seat. Wallee2008-09-11 02:58:42

I had no idea that Mannie Heymans was at the olympics, and also Antipass Kwari from Zimbabwe! (bad name for a cyclist!)

I see that the womens MTB is now scheduled for 10:00 on Saturday and the men at 15:00 on the same day. What time does the rugby kick-off?

Those being the same legs that tried to back pedal down that last scary as crap dropoff..... Good on ya Keith for nailing it..you didn't know what was coming....HAHAHAHAHA And then proceeded to fall at 2kph while doing a u-turn!
